I don't want to downplay the significance of this, but he is WRONG to say that the damage caused by ten times as much explosives as was in Beirut would extend ten times as far as the Beirut blast. The blast expands 3 dimensionally. Hence the equivalent blast would extend in distance to the cube root of 10, which is a little over twice the cited 6 kilometer distance. Regardless, this is an intractable problem. No port, and no population would accept 20,000 tons of explosive, delivered on an unstable, potentially leaking platform (ammonium nitrate reacts with water!) There's no choice but to tow it far away from prime fishing habitat and sink it. Then, these unsafe dark fleet ships need to be banned.

Why was this ship allowed to sail in the first place from Russia, there must be international laws against such happenings?

Its such a wierd event that one could possibly think that it was intentional that much explosive power but yet not nuclear can be devastating to the uk or even the environment if it sink the fact that it will back up other shipping from going on that possibly involves Ukraine aid could be a ploy to block or delay ait from other countries to Ukraine.
