I always thought it was extremely adventurous for Valentino to give shadowhawk HIV especially for the time it was published in. Not many people know that detail but it’s pretty cool for Valentino to give a hero a disease that most of the population was terrified of due to ignorance to shed light and focus on it.

I never knew that detail! But yeah it is adventurous and i think it’s cool that some comics go into some of the stuff that is going on in the world and makes people think about it
