Once you've learnt the spacing of the keys on the piano, and if you practice that movement enough, muscle memory makes something like that not too hard, actually. Believe me, Liszt has far more up his sleeve.

If you pay close attention, you will notice similarities between various pieces, I don't if it's just me or it's some kind of inspiration: 0:18 - 0:24 sounds like a famous mazurka from Chopin 1:30 kind of sounds like the second movement from moonlight sonata The whole part with 3 colours sounds like the introduction to the Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 And the part at 3:42 resembles a part from the Liebestraum no. 3

There's three Easter eggs in this video :) 1. 1:23 - 1:26 Rousseau get some extra notes which the sheet music did not have it. 2. 6:14 Octaves are not in the score but he did it. (Thanks for reminding me I didn't mention it) 3. 7:14 The super high and low note was composed by Rousseau.
