Without a doubt the best rendition of the piece. She absolutely pours her soul into it. It's just magical to listen to.

imo one of the greatest interpretations of any classical piece ever caught on video. Wish it could be nicer in terms of recording quality, but her playing is fantastic. She makes Liszt sound like cogent, spontaneous music by her variety of everything - colour, tone, rhythm etc. No this piece should not be more "forceful", that is when it would sound crude and tacky. She releases and restores the composer by her deeply felt response to the music. The ending is incredible. Ditto also her Rachmaninov prelude.

Twenty years have paseed since she won the Tschaikovsky Contest. She is the only Japanese female pianist that captured the fame of that kind. No other. She has been the best ever student of YAMAHA Music School. She is very good at Russian pieces, so I'm intrigued to find her Liszt. Dazzlingly brilliant!

First I'd say it's a clean and neat prestation. Good job ! But ... too petite, too nice and melow for me. I couldn't perceive the mephisto part, the devilish side. Go for it !!

Invece a me non piace! Da 3:10 in poi, quando dovrebbe sentirsi il canto, non si sente niente! E poi secondo me, abusa davvero TROPPO del rubato! Sul lato tecnico, assolutamente niente da dire
