Those next venture fender flairs definitely took a solid hit , does look like the damage did transfer to the quarter panel though. You can see paint cracked in the door jamb where the door meets the quarter. To be expected from a hit like that !

The factory sheet metal did get some deformation. Both rear flare mounting locations have been hit a few times (prior to this video the prototype flares took some good ones too) so it's not surprising. The corners help distribute the force; but for anyone wanting to use their flares like rock sliders we would recommend tying the backside of the corners into their cage work for repeated abuse; otherwise the flares might outlive the body lol.

40s wouldn’t be advised if you were doing anything where high wheel speed could possible meet sudden high traction. But you could also look at Next Venture Motorsport axle trusses and gussets as well as chromoly axle shafts front & rear. But you aren’t rock crawling it, jumping it, etc it can totally be done. But if you drive it like a rental or like you stole it, smaller tires may be the better route.

Watching bobbed vs factory length gladiators I'm curious to the benefit of a bob?...If the largest issue with the gladdy is wheel base length (bc of breakover) and the bob doesn't address this but you lose 2ft+ of useable bed space isn't this a double negative?
@LiteBrite9 ай бұрын
The bobbed bed helps immensely with departure angle, turning ability in tight spaces, and even steep climbs (so the bed doesn’t drag on the ground and prevent your rear tires from reaching the obstacle).
