Yo that was really amazing teaching! You brought up the concept of "adapt to your opponent's adaptations" and then you showed examples! The C4 kill clip, Kirby adapted and you F smashed instead, then Gannon was ready for the PK Thunder and adapted to your adaptation, and then you covered that too! Great lesson!

In my opinion, you're hilarious either way and are one of the only content creators who always puts out constantly enjoyable stuff. The main channel is flowing with such positive energy and so many dynamic vibes and now that i know you legit love to edit, it shows even more. Putting that much effort into your main channel stuff and having people diss it saying "alpha plus is funnier hoohoo" can't be good for the self esteem at all. I would say something to the effect of "in this essay i will defend the claims of the true alpha fans" if that meant anything coming from an internet rando. Plussyland is a horrid nightmare and is one of my favorite podcasts. Getting an outlet for the oddball is one of my favorite things to see. Basically a long winded way of saying that you're incredible, Mr. Alpharad. Your content never ceases to keep me going.

To paraphrase Albert Einstein, this episode is brilliant. The whole idea of baiting an opponent into committing to a laggy, punishable option is one of the core tenets of fighting games, and this episode crystallizes that idea into three of the funniest fucking clips I've ever seen. Throughout the episode, Alpharad Plus discusses basic footsies and mixups, but continues to focus on the fact that all of the mind games serve as little more than elaborate disguises for the basis of fighting; bait your opponent into a predictable action, and get the most that you can off of that predictive read. in the whole of the episode, the A.J.s 1 & 2 fail to recognize that this is the only thing happening in the endgames of their battles. 14:18 - JoSniffy breaks his shield to bait the Kirby into a laggy punish, while Alpharad Plus still has two total stocks to use in order to punish said punish. Kirby performs the expected punish atop the placed C4. 1-0. 18:25 - JoSniffy breaks his shield to bait the Kirby into a laggy punish, while Alpharad Plus still has two total stocks to use in order to punish said punish. Even though the C4 has vanished from usefulness, Kirby neglects to notice that the C4 was not the actual threat. Kirby is still under threat from Alpharad Plus's final stock, yet continues marching forward with his laggy side hammer. Snake respawns during the post-animation. 2-0. 25:14 - Alpharad breaks his shield to bait the Ganondorf into a laggy punish, while Alpharad Plus still has two total stocks to use in order to punish said punish. Even though the JoSniffy has taken Alpharad's stock, Ganondorf neglects to notice that the extra stock was not the actual threat. Ganondorf has become so wrapped up in this multi-game bait of conditioning that he does not realize that he is still under threat from the OTHER CHARACTER ON THE STAGE. He doggedly marches forward with his laggy forward smash. JoSniffy performs a PK Thunder. 3-0. A.J.s 1 & 2 have been utterly bushwhacked. They have been coaxed into the maze of Plus Ultra, and as such have forgotten how to play against a 2-on-1 deficit. Defeated and confused, plagued by doubt, and beleaguered by the inexorable march of wasted time, they log off, never to be seen again.
