As a person who's favorite pokemon ever is sceptile I'm happy to see grovyle is your favorite grass type, and I don't think anyone can fault you for preferring grovyle b/c they are both sick at the end of the day.

I remember seeing one other program. Basically it would show you pictures of a random collection of all pokemon in existence. And you'd select a certain number of them, it deletes all pokemon you didn't choose from the pool and it keeps going while lowering your choices until you're left with your 6 favorite pokemon of all time

I honestly hope he does too. I started in Black 1 in 2016, long after it died tho, but the story is to this day the best in all the games I ever seen, better than Moon, better than Legends Arceus, even better than SoulSilver. If he does play it, I hope he plays both of the versions such as Black 1 then Black 2 in order to get the correct story and timelines across Unova. Imagine if he plays White 1 and loves Zekrom, then he plays Black 2 and he sees N using Zekrom.

Gen 5, tied between Sigilyph Darmanitan Golurk and Audino. Gen 6, Pyroar hands down. Gen 7, either Mareanie/Toxapex or Lurantis. Gen 8, definitely Duraludon (long story, caught one super early and she carried me thru the whole game, love you Duralu) Gen 9, damn... A ton I love, but two have my heart won, Armarouge and Ceruledge. Fav starter ever, Samurott, Pocketwash from Black 1, or Meowscarada, Felisquera from Scarlet. Fav Legendary, Reshiram, Heavenfire from Black 1, Mausoleum, Giratina from Platinum, or Nebulana, Lunala from Moon. Fav small legendary, Ursa Majora my Urshifu-Water, or Gigi my Regigigas. Fav pseudolegendary, Garchomp (specifically either Scarlie my female from Y, or my female shiny one from Alpha Sapphire, Cookie) Fav fossil, Pepper my shiny Aurorus. Gorgeous design, impeccable story, reasonable goals and strength, and my fav cry of all Pokemon. She saw my growth, my peak, and my eventual completion of 13 Pokemon games, and I know she would smile if she could. Her Blue Flare blazes in my heart to this day, because she is the reason I fell in love with Pokemon. Duralu, my Duraludon. Craziest stats of any Steel type, the best user of Steel Beam, sky high defenses, and my personal attachment through her Gmax forme. She came when she was level 16 hiding in the middle of the wild area due to an event, and she has conquered the whole of Galar. Her Gmax Depletion laid waste to countless Dynamax mons, and her strength is impeccable. And finally, Rouge my Armarouge. Found you night one on Christmas day when I started Scarlet, and you were there through every journey, triumph, and fall. Amazing design, amazing ultimate attack in Armor Cannon, and when paired with your sister Cerula and you both use Lava Plume to boost Flash Fire, you are unstoppable.

Huge power azumarill was how I swept the gen 5 elite four tbh. And that thing was my HM mule, which makes it so much better. Was Waterfall, Surf, Strength, and Aqua Tail. That thing was the highest level on my team, lucked out and caught an adamant one with huge power, p sure it had great IVs considering that thing destroyed everything. I still swear by Azumarill, to the point I picked up Quaxly in Violet, only to immediately replace it

I think a good Fusion would be Shedinja + Galvantula with an Air Balloon, it'll have Wonder Guard and the Air Balloon gets rid of the Ground weakness or Shedinja + Spiritomb only fairy type moves will hit it. Hope this helps 😄

Imma be perfectly honest woth a few choices im netrual of most of the large cast of catchable mons But for each of my overall favs Are The Tepig Evo line and Popplio Evo line,Corviknight,Koraidon and Miraidon, The Scorbunny Evo line,All of the gen 9 starters,most of the paradox mons and other Legendaries so far only though teal of mask aka ogerpon),Talonflame,Rockruff and Midday Form Lycanroc,Cosmog and Lunahla and honorable mentions being: Staraptor,Sobble And Grookey line,Clodsire,Flamingo,Litten and Rowlet evo lines,All three Hisuian form starters (tied with the gen 3-6 starters although mostly of either feeling netural on or just think cool) Solgaleo,Zacian,Urishifu and Calyrox plus it's Ghostly steed,Tinkaton and Armarouge + Ceruledge)

Favorite of each generation? 1: venusaur (always my starter. No other choice) 2: crobat (I'm one of those freaks that liked golbat in gen 1 so finding out it evolved was amazing) 3: mawile (my favorite pokemon, even before megas existed, even before fairy type. It's just the cutey to end all cuties) 4: hard choice between my favorite types (poison and steel), but lucario is just better than drapion and toxicroak 5: another hard choice between hydreigon and volcarona, but volcarona edges it out 6: oof...dragalge and aegislash both came out gen 6, huh? As much as I'd like to just call it a tie, I like dragalge's design more 7: alolan muk (mvp of every alola run) 8: hisuian zoroark. Gen 8 is one of the weaker gens and legends was the only highlight. And the second I remembered it counted 4 pokemon popped up instantly: zoroark, typhlosion, goodra, and sneasler. Of those, zoroark is just so cool Gen 9: Tinkaton. It hurts not saying skeledirge, but tiny gremlin with a massive hammer is just too funny

My first game was ruby and then I got platinum. My first Pokémon was blaziken and is still my favorite since watching ash’s charzard getting beat the fuck up in the anime as a kid. Beating Cynthia as a kid was just the best and felt to good to finally understand the game mechanics in and out don’t even get me started on the giratina encounter. Was truly an amazing experience and now I finally played emerald seeing the rayquaza cutscene was so sick but nothing else compares to satan jumping at your screen as a child.

It took me Gen 3 to appreciate nidoking. lol also Magnemite evolution for electric all the way! I just love Magnezone as well as Metagross. like there's just something about steel type pokemons. Aggron and etc.
