What's the point of school if you're just going to forget everything right after? Perhaps you should look into better studying techniques, then.

@@thatoneuser8600 key word “refreshers.” i studied for a long time, knew everything, but i wanted to be sure to reacquaint myself with everyone before the exam.

Metaphor's definition is inaccurate. For example: "The cactus resembles a strong ship in the middle of a bumpy sea." While it doesn't use like or as, it also doesn't state that the vehicle IS the tenor, so it is a simile. Another simile without like or as: "Lucifer has fallen from her throne for being wicked; so will you from your electronics for not listening to me."

Oh, so when Shakespeare compares without using "like" or "as" it's a metaphor, but when I do it, I'm an idiot 😭

The advantages and disadvantages of the Internet and online games It’s not true that online games don’t provide any benefits! On the other hand, we can’t deny that they have a bad side too. Here are the main advantages and disadvantages of online games. The advantages of online games We interact with other young people, we can create groups and communities, and we help each other: we socialize… We can learn new strategies, solve problems, and meet challenges: we think! We develop our observational skills and work on our attention and concentration: we learn. Can you please help me identify the literary devices in this text?
