You don't know how much I am happy watching this video. Thanks to you, I already recognize many more language devises included in today's video from your previous videos. Thanks a lot, Jennifer. ❤️🌹 P.s. there's a typo in the script in 7:11 (2ndm)
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ra'ed. Since you've been wonderfully consistent keeping up with my lessons, I know you're familiar with parallel structure, hyperbole, idioms, homophones, and likely a few others. I decided to put them all together and add a few more in a comprehensive lesson. Another viewer had asked about oxymorons, so it was a good time to do this. Thanks for catching the typo! I deleted the extra "m." That key is next to the comma, so I hit the "m" by mistake. There's one other small mistake in the video that I can't change anymore, but oh well. If that's the only one, I'm quite pleased. It's hard to proofread my own text. By the way, it's a missing comma in a form of address. Maybe you'll see it now in one of the movie clips.

My writing: Baby pigeon story . Today in the morning, i emerged from the bathroom, and who should greet me, perched defiantly on the balcony railing. It was the erstwhile about to die baby pigeon.. Not shy at all, as i closed up on him, it said, up yours, and flew into the neighbouring tree where it amourously necked with a fellow pigeon. "How shameless", I muttered, "no respect to the elderly." Moral of the story .. Let the birds be, they will find their way.. They don't need your unsolicited sympathy and love. This we put out their daily feed of मक्का and बाजरा in the balcony.. Which they share with the squirrels and other small and big organisms.. And that's it. Have a good day as i go to a zoom call. 🤠🤠 Above is the end of the story of our attempt to save a baby pigeon from the visiting cat. It was trapped in my balcony facing the road side. Three days ago, the pigeon was too weak to fly and had lost its confidence.
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing, Arun. How shameless, indeed! I like to watch little birds at my bird feeder. I get angry when larger bird dominate and eat all the food. How is the baby pigeon today?
