sorry friend....when I heard what a racket it makes at 5:59 minutes, I stopped watching. I can't handle listening to that so I won't be purchasing this. It's too bad because I too, like 18650 powered items since that's the battery I'm concentrating on. Just makes it easier for power down situations. Anyways, I've heard some guys talk about getting around the non-"nippled" versions of the 18650's by soldering a little bit of metal to the end of the battery so it fits better in the device. I've not tried that myself, so I wish you luck with this device.
