I need to get me one of those :) look at the size of that tree on your property! Wowser. Unless you’re cutting up your local park ;)

HAHA! Nope! My property. The tree behind me when I am putting it together was planted when the previous owners first moved in. That was in the late 50's. That is the oldest of the maples on our property. The maples we were trimming are a little younger, but probably at least 50 years old.

@@marygreen5461 HAHAHA!!! Well, the previous owner had a tree business, so he took great care of his trees. We've been here for almost 19 years. I can't say we have been as good to them... but now that I have the pole saw, we can make some improvements!

@@TheOdiousSoul awesome. We’ve got a monkey puzzle tree out front. It’s got so big it attacks delivery drivers coming to the door. And the roots are probably planning bringing our foundations down. But it looks cool. I love oak trees. In the Quercus Circus treasure hunt they play a big part. I’ve even found one that’s 100 years old called Big Belly in the south of England..

Very nice review, Shannon. My wife absolutely loves her new battery operated weed eater. Our 2 stroke weed eater shroud was hosting a nest of 3 baby Wrens. I had to leave the pedrestrian door to the garage propped open until they took flight. It was very cool to watch both Mama and Papa Bird fly in feeding the baby's. I even got to witness Mama pass the eggshells to Papa, for him to discard in the yard. Gotta Love nature. Tell Mama Odious, I said Hello.

Awwhhh!!!! My bestie has a wren nest in her outdoor bar right now. Every year some come a build a nest somewhere around her porch. Nature is truly amazing when you stop, look, and take the time to appreciate it. 💖 Good job getting your wife a new toy!!! I can’t decide what battery operated toy... I mean tool I want to try next!!!

Great review. I just bought a Ryobi a few weeks ago and I love it. So many uses. I am sure you are going to love this one as well.

You convinced me to buy this one over the others and I do not regret my choice. Very is to use and the battery still had a good charger even after a hour of work.

Awesome! Mine is still going strong as well.

I love this! Chain saws and pole saws are a bit intimidating to use (especially for girls) but you made this look like CAKE! Kinda sexy too! Thanks Shannon!

I still can't believe how easy it was! And the fact that the blade was so far away from my face and fingers made me feel really safe.

Well, that was a great review! Looking forward to more! It is so helpful to see it in use. I am pretty certain at this point that battery powered is the way to go for me, much safer and easier.

Hell I think I'll buy my wife one of those. I have 24 acres and the more she can do the less I'll have too LOL :-)

HAHAHA!!!! Perfect! I was surprised how easy it was... no lie! We had an electric pole saw years ago, and that thing was scary. Maybe the loud screaming of the motor increased my fear. LOL We have 4 gas chainsaws in the garage and none of them work. It takes too much work to keep little gas motors working well.

Very nice for you please show us exactly how long that extends to if you can show us the the measurement nu

I’m not sure had to add video to an old video… but the new 20v pole saw extends to over 11’ in length.

I’ve never used a chain saw or cut trees down with anything other than a manual pruning saw. Am I correct in thinking that when using a pole chain saw, that you mustn’t accidentally hit any other branch while it’s on as this could result in dangerous kick back. Videod always show an isolated branch, whereas in reality the saw is going to be touching several other branches whist in operation.
@TheOdiousSoul6 ай бұрын
You always want to be mindful of other branches, as any mars can allow pests and diseases to penetrate more easily.

How long will it go on charge?

I only had it run out once, and it took over 45 mins of pretty consistent cutting.

I guess you skipped the part about soaking the chain in oil for 24 hours😂
@TheOdiousSoulАй бұрын
Can’t say I remember seeing that in the manual. I wonder if that’s something they added for newer models. I still use this same pole saw with the same chain and haven’t had any issues, and it’s been years since I made this video.
