You are right about training. You can also write out a simple 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, --- etc., script of what to do when the power go out and tape it next to your electrical circuit breaker box. Reverse the steps when power is restored. It helps to download, then backup, copies of your manuals for your emergency equipment and keep one in a seperate folder on your phone, laptop, and knockoff thumb drive or Micro SD card. When it's freezing the last thing you want to do is flip the wrong switch or forget to flip the correct ones in the right order.

I love the 100W USB-C power charger (great for laptops etc) and the ejectible USB-C chargers. Brilliant. Goes so well with a 100W USB-C panel.

that panel looks about the size of my RockPals 60 watt folding solar panel. this one would be a good option for apartment/condo dwellers. my main issue is I don't have direct sun on my deck where I would put my panels

That 8mm cable issue, is the center pin diameter the same size on both cables you were using?

As mentioned, there are two different 8mm connectors, the 7909 and 7.9x5.5.

NMC batteries are not dynamites, therefore they don't explode. There's nothing in a NMC battery that causes explosion. Stop spreading myths.

If you have a DC to DC boost converter you could get a possible 210w going in there at 7A * 30v

While watching the video I noticed that it kinda started to charge when you were either pulling it in or taking out. I hate it when a port needs the specific connector type. I ran into that with an xtar 8mm solar panel accessory.
