The quick play is very underrated, it let's you play through just about anything. Nibiru before Deadnader? Plug In revives node to make him. Nibiru after Deadnader? Just revive Deadnader. TTT/Change of heart/Imperm on their turn? Deadnader destroy itself and revive with Plug In. I would probably play it at 2/3 and always search it with duodrive for flexibility. Also 7th Tachyon for more copies of Ice and Sakitama, so the armored xyz package is more easy to get to.

I honestly quite like this one. Artwork is awesome and the playstyle is very simplistic. Yeah my brain may get smoother, but after a long day of work this is just what i need sometimes 😅

Run Raflexia and the gravedigger trap hole or nibiru is gg. The raizeol trap is a hole normal trap, so you can also use raflexia to send that trap.

I don't think Raff does anything for his combo. He goes shark combo first so we are way past Nib when you get the other bodies. Maybe don't run shark stuff if you are going for Raff first, or side that Raff stuff in if fearing Nib idk.

​@@boraaksitozgun9912 Not only nib but ash and veiler as well. A player who knows the deck will keep the interruptions for the xyz that searches 2. It can play around imperm if your opponent is dumb enough to attempt to use it on raf (happened to me)

@raykirushiroyshi2752 yeah after thinking about it, I would say Raff is needed, much more so than the shark stuff. Hell, I hope it is possible to cut the Shark stuff and go for raff most of the time instead, I don't like running this many bricks in such an otherwise fluent deck (shark traps, double or nothing, Raiz trap, raff targets). I think one or two of those engines (utopia, shark or raff stuff) have to be cut and it sure ain't gonna be raff.

⁠@@boraaksitozgun9912I mean double or nothing is definitely a hard cut to make. Having that otk threat is very very helpful and you’ll win games you otherwise would lose. But I would probably agree raff is better than xyz armor package just because of hand trap protection and synergy with the raize trap.

I played raf and mathmech package to get 4 rank 4 xyz then use raize trap to make f0 using 3 of them when necessary.

The guy that send an xyz for cost to ss itself is busted. Not only is it free and sets up a negation on opponents turn, not only is it starter/consistency but it also helps you play going second into boards. That card alone makes me like the architype . Also,a not opt interruption with the boss monster? Haven't seen something like that since herald

The funny thing is, you can mix this deck with small mathmech engine, so if ur opponent nibs after deadnader you still have plug-in, an ice raizeol if u start with ex, and a superfactorial that -2 or 3.

Unrelated question: Will you be adding Fuwaross to the decks you test moving forward? I know it's not a first turn card, but it seems that between you and your opponent sometimes you go first or second. Likewise, moving forward will your opponent be using the card as well in some of their decks?

It wouldn't because you lock yourself into cyberse monsters. If you had a way to foolish monsters deliberately and search the Superfacto to get Laplacian with an omni, maybe. Still, you can play Laplacian for the trishula effect and many won't expect it

Every new archetype reveal I get more sad at how hard Konami is doubling down on the 1/1.5 card full board design for decks Post DUNE pre-AGOV was such a well received (albeit relatively short) time both in the moment and retroactively, yet even the new decks like this that probably won’t be tier 1 threats feel like they’re just boring and playing themselves

Power creep, what else will they do? First wave is new offense which we are seeing in these one card combos that allow for a lot of non engine to be played, then eventually we will get power creep in the defensive department. Don’t know what that will look yet like other than more maxx c-esque type cards, which is all we know now. Gotta expect that they will be on par to what Nib, Shifter, and DRNM were when they dropped.

We have to be careful on how fast loosely we use the custom card label. You say printed in a while when fiendsmith is right around the corner for the tcg and snake eye us not a year old yet. The cards are very easy to get on field, but you are locked into one extra type that honestly needs more monsters and is easily sided against with cards like d barrier.

They only lock if they use their effect to special summon themselves. Normaling ice, summon thode from deck, thode add ex, then you can make you're armor xyz stuff before locking yourself

The cards are circular like, but you don't really have the same robust otk lines mathmech had which waa a large part of the toxicity for that deck. Its probably going to be about as helmet as rescue ace, not the highest skill expression but the boards aren't quite auto win so there is a solid difference between the good and bad players.

The issue is this archetype is not only "meh" power wise but also just so uninspired. It's a 2013 era R4NK spam deck. Woooo. It should've just been a main set archetype. At least with other "bad" archetypes from deck build sets break conventions like Nouvelle or Centurion or what have you.

Problem is Nouvelle wasn't just bad. It's just awful which makes how unique it is a swing and a miss. People keep bringing up Centurion but the only thing unique they did was the whole Continuous Trap gimmick. And while it's neat their boards are equally as boring cuz it's either Calamity turbo spam or just a simple Crimson Dragon line. Raizeol actually has potential to grow and become unique with later support whole also bring decent. Just depends on how konami handles it tbh

@@amethonys2798 I mean... you kinda just gave an idea your self. An Quick Play Xyz Change card or a Quick Play RUM like card with a future R5+ since the lock is only for the rest of the turn. Or at the very least give various xyzs for various scenarios instead of just making the same 2 every game. Or spice up disruption types. There's a lot of ways to make the deck more unique. People just don't wanna try thinking of ways to do so. Yes they are limited a bit but it doesn't mean it's impossible to make them unique. The bigger question is what does KONAMI have in store for them. I can think of many ways to make them unique but it means jack shit if konami wants them to be xyz swordsoul and make the same 2 monsters every game.
