I want to actually say that this light looks pretty unique, I sure hope it lasts a long time. I know LEDs can last long, I know of LED street lights that are working for more than a few years now but I do hate when they get replaced by existing HID lamps that could still be serviced for another forever. LEDs can be serviced for a forever too (depending on what brand of course) but as long as they are only installed in new construction but not in existing installations.

Replaces a 150 watt metal halide? Please! A 150w MH produces about 14,000 lumens. Sick of these manufacturers just flat-out lying.

Very nice! area light. I also do hate daylight CFL's and LED's. I once saw a rating of daylight lights and it said that it was "as sterile as a morgue at night"

You define until you wired it up and not Explain the difference between 120 in 277 V. Remind only has one black wire 1 white and 1 green. What's the difference? How do you wire it up for 120V My box is not give me an explanation

looks cool but if possible i think it would look cooler with some green leds so has a simuler hue to murcury vapour

mine has no stickers on the wires, what is the green wire for, ground? My old light had black and white with copper ground so is the green wire ground? No paper guide inside, I got it at Lowes new.

Neat fixture I got same fixture to last year and extension arm with it. mine is 43 watts and has blue multi volt photocell and same time with I got 1994 regent 175watt mercury vapor area light!

The mercury vapor is probably so much better than the LED.

This design is strange to me. A fixture with a nice replaceable photocell but not a replaceable bulb.

I have the same unit you have those often come with a Hatch brand constant current LED driver the driver is a standard compact fluorescent ballast shape not like the cheap ones with an exposed board i believe it puts out 42 volts DC at 1800ma.

Got one from a “bargain bin” almost new but only comes on very dim; maybe ballast is bad?
