Appreciate the video. I have several lithops that are still in their storebought soil that need to be repotted into a more granular mix.

Thanks for putting the word out on the importance of inorganic soil. I hear so many people say their lithops rot and I really think the soil is the problem more than the watering.

It really makes a difference for sure!

I have been tempted to try these from our big box store because they look surprisingly good, and many of them are blooming! I figured our summer heat and humidity would just destroy these, though, so I have shied away from them. Will these survive here ok?

Give it one shot at least! I bring mine indoors to a south facing window sill during the hottest months, June-August or so.

Ah, ok… thank you…they’re so inexpensive there it’s not like a huge investment risk! 😂😂

I bought the same plants from Home Depot. They look humongous. I’m surprised how that’s even possible. I repotted them and don’t water. They look the same one month later. I wasn’t not sure what to wait for.

I've only given a small sip a while before I repotted. Nothing has changed for me either. They're definitely freakishly large.
