This song has a deep meaning but at the same time takes you somewhere away from all the worries.

This song is just delightful, frivolous and entertaining, and artistically ambitious and yes definetely interesting. We need songs like this in Eurovision. Very cool, thanks for this!

You’re welcome!! Thanks for watching as always. Have you heard much of them from this year yet?

@@TheMuserResolute I haven’t heard that many songs yet, usually I like to save them to the actual event. Have heard the Finnish entry ofcourse, still haven’t quite made up my mind about it, but it was definetely the strongest song of the national selection. And great to see bands there in any case! Makes for more interesting listening than the songs with ”7 swedes and 2 americans” -writing team behind it 🙃

I loved your entry!! I unfortunately didn't do a video on it. I was meant to do all of them, but fell behind, and I didn't wanna do a disproportionate amount of time covering Eurovision! This is the first year I actually haven't heard all of them by this time, and I believe saving them till actually watching the event will give you the most objective view of whether they'll qualify and how they'll do. So thank you for breaking your rule by watching this :P I've got more coming up

@@TheMuserResolute Looking forward to more! I was watching a few other reactions to the FI entry, seems it’s making positive waves. I do hope we won’t win though, because it would screw up the budget for our National Broadcasting company and then there’d be just more reruns on TV in the following year 😛🤣😁
@TheMuserResolute3 жыл бұрын
😂 haha yeh! The downside of winning! Tbh, I feel like it probably won't win as it'd be quite polarising for some of the older ESC viewers, but, I guess Lordi was too 😂

probably the best reaction I saw, that moment when the song is about to end and builds up to chorus. Then it explodes. My opinion this is key to success. Great review!

There's your winner, folks! And you wonder why they are opening the show with it... Show's over, y'all! The Roop nailed our collective 2020/2021feelings of frustration and isolation in one dang 3-minute bop! PS, James Corden REALLY got his groove back. Kudos! ;-)

Haha, I love how from 5:20 to 5:56 you can see a whole range of thought bubbles passing your face: from "that's not bad" to "that's kinda silly but oh well..." and then from "what the...?" to "hey, wait..." and "that's cool!" :-)

I'd love to see you react to the Swiss entry and the Icelandic one and Russia. Lithuania did really well this year - they came eighth in the end. Thank you for pointing out why the juries were kinda shitty for placing them fourteenth below effing Moldova who people who know their onions have said their singer was awful. live

I do be feeling quite early 😉 at first i tought this song didn't have the "wow factor" a eurovision song should have in order to instantly capture an audience but the chorus really took me by surprise. The dancing also really added to it and it did the trick😂 The bridge to chorus part as well really grabbed my attention i had to stop and rewind only to find out you rewinded as well 😅 All in all id say Mountain goat 🐐

@@TheMuserResolute doubt this is called rude but i don't know a different word that's simillar yet different 😅 About 2 months ago i came across an interesting artist that incorporates asmr into his music. (Asmr is some sort of tingling sensation you feel from either sound, touch, visuals and is mainly used for relaxation, studying and sleeping.) Honestly, this type of combo is something I've been on and off looking for since about 2015. His stage name is Asmr Music (pretty fitting) This is one of his works. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6fOkql5eKmLj7s since asmr in itself took off the past years I'm sure this will follow a simmilar path. Would really love to hear your thoughts/feelings about this (maybe) new genre of music. P.s I'm not asking for a video just want to satisfy my own curiosity.😅 altho if you do end up watching and liking his work shouting him out would be awesome. He has helped me sleep/study numerous times and i hope he will help many others. Anyways cheers and cya in the next video 🐐

As if I'm in a time warp, it is the prototype for disco for the 2020 ties. Since the end of disco was in the early eighties, what goes around, comes around. And yes, I was in my twenties then 🤣 palm tree hair, and as glam as I could be... Kajagoogoo - Too shy watch?v=EXndkQqosPY

Welp, it would seem I once again need to show my appreciation for bringing me stuff I'd never find on my own. I tend to avoid stuff like this for the same reason you mentioned early on: It's all just a bit too silly for me, and I like to enjoy my music more seriously. I'll admit, I don't really care for the guy's voice at times (Mostly he's fine, but it's obvious at times he's not taking himself seriously. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not for me.) But overall, the song is enjoyable to listen to. I'll always prefer deeper songs with musical *and* lyrical depth, but I'm never against songs with just one or the other, either. Music is just a wonderful creation.

Have you seen the Swedish one yet? Kid broke the voting record. And won by a massive landslide (175 points, runner up had 118). We figured he'd win by at least 10 points before they announced his phone votes. As that would mean he got the most points from both jury and phone votes, but they blew it out of the park... 😅

I haven’t seen it yet actually!

You're in for a treat, I think it's one of Sweden's strongest contributions in a few years at least. The singer is 19 I believe. Came here as a refugee from war in Gambia (?) when he was 12. Apparently the absolute sweetest kid ever. And you could really see that in his reaction when he won. And then in the interview when they asked him how hard he was gonna party after he said he had a biology exam in school the next Monday he had to study for. 😂
