If Lithuania wants a shot at getting to the finals in the Olympics, they need to stop playing Sabonis as an old school center. They need to let him delegate the ball a whole lot more. He’s supposed to be averaging 8+ assists per game. When the big man is out of the paint it opens up the floor for driving inside and easy cuts to the rim for lobs.

He averages 8 assists in the NBA. You can't compare it to European Basketball. So many things are different. Plus when it comes to European Basketball Sabonis is just a shell of himself.
