Hey! Nice lesson, I really enjoyed watching the Lithuanian countryside, very picturesqe! It was if I were sitting next to you, driving along the Kaimas! I was waiting for you to break the traffic rules and get stopped by traffic police and I was wating for you to start talking to them and explaining all of the phrases they'd say to you, like: Did you have anything to drink today sir?, "Can I see your driver's license?", "Where's your insurance?" "Are you aware that you were not wearing a seatbelt when we stopped you?" "We saw you using your cell phone" "Is that weed I smell in your car?-))))" and then you would talk back to them explaining all of this in Lithuanian-))))

Labas vakaras mokytojas Edmundas ! Iki greito Pasimatymo.

Great lesson. Very nice to see such a good, functional, speaking lesson with real time video. Thank you very much for all of your hard work that you’ve put into making these lessons! I would like to see more lessons done in this manner....maybe a restaurant or grocery store?

Thank you Matthew, I have to start planning to make more videos like this then. How is your Lithuanian going? Which country are you from?

LithuaniaForYou hello! Thank you very much for your quick response. my Lithuanian is coming along slowly but surely. I use your KZbin channel, Lithuanian language books, my mother, and the podcast “Lithuanian out loud.” I am actually visiting my Lithuanian family in Lithuania next week. I’m excited to show them my progress thanks to your videos! And to answer your last question i am from the United States, California to be more precise! I’m excited to see Lithuania in winter :)

@@wrightm707 Oh, that's great to know you will visit Lithuania and you will the the winter, I hope the snow won't melt next week. You are welcome to visit us for tea!

LithuaniaForYou Thank you very much for the invitation for tea! Unfortunately my schedule was very packed in Lithuania. I very much enjoyed Lithuania in the winter! Although the snow kind of melted. Everyone was so welcoming and my family was very glad to see that I have been working on my Lithuanian. I was so excited to finally speak with my aunts and not just translate through my cousins. So thank you again for making an effective language learning program on KZbin! I’ll keep going and maybe be a bit better at speaking when I see my family next year.

@@wrightm707 Thank you very much for your comment. I was thinking that you might not find much snow here in Lithuania, it's a bit disappointing, but anyway it's so great to know that you enjoyed Lithuania and spoke some Lithuanian. For sure next year you will speak better if you keep your Lithuanian active. I will plan to make a video in a restaurant or grocery store, please be patient. Hope to have a chat with you in Lithuanian ''prie arbatos puodelio'' as we say here in Lithuania (at the cup of tea) next time when you come.

I live on a dirt road next to a blacktop, ( asphalt ) highway. Do you have signs for animal crossings, like deer crossing? It is a major cause of car accidents in Pennsylvania. We also have yield signs when entering a major highway, and we have occasional 4 - way stop signs at certain crossroads. Lithuania's roads look to be in much better shape than the roads in Pa., ours are always getting potholes and just crumbling apart.

Yes, we have signs for animals crossing and, by the way, just an our ago I saw two moose standing next to the road, I was a bit scared because I was driving quite fast. Fortunately they didn't jump on the road.

Lithuanian roads vs russian roads Woes win? Like - lithuanian Comment - russian
@MovieEnglish6 жыл бұрын
Lithuania is very small compared to Russia, if you take Russian roads closer to Moscow and near-Moscow regions - they're close to perfect. However, should you travel far noth, to Ural, Siberia or Far East, you'll find it impossible to navigate the village roads unless you have a russian Uazik, regular cars will get suck in the mud. It's not only the matter of roads but a climate, norhern Russian villages are notorious for harsh climate and when the spring comes and everything starts melting, it's like driving in swamp. So, Lithuania certainly wins in terms of roads!
