I wanted to see how this worked out of curiosity. I was immediately hypnotized by your calm, relaxed, straight to the point delivery style. Thx for also showing the not so great parts to the machine. I have 2 rescue cats and two catboxes but this robot seems like more work than them. I'm glad to hear positive reviews. I could have watched your beautiful cats for hours. Proud and honored cat lady here. To all the potential 1st time cat owners - strictly indoor cats live longer than outdoor or indoor-outdoor cats. If you are going to adopt, get at least 2 rescue cats so they have each other when you're too busy to give attention or not home. And,,get them fixed, microchipped and vaccinated. Otherwise, you don't deserve a cat. Know how to ethically treat your pets with respect, love and compassion.

Was just setting mine up and the bottom where the power goes was cracked, and there was nowhere to plug the power into. No wonder they were quick to set me up with a replacement device. I looked everywhere to plug it into after I already sent the pictures and had the replacement ordered. Didn't even realize it was missing until afterwards. How in the world did they test it if it didn't have a way to power it on. Very interesting.

Initially, make sure the robot and your phone are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network. If you have 2G and 6G Wi-Fi, put the robot in your phone on 2G.

So real question, is this worth the $800 vs just scoping like how it’s always been? Seems like a really cool concept but equally a complete waste of money. Looks like there’s more cleaning involved than just scooping out a box for a fraction of the price.

For us, yes - it's worth the price. We have not had to clean ours. I think it depends on the specific cat. Our cat just eats dry food. If the cat poop is mushy, you may have to clean the machine occasionally. Or, increase the wait time before cycling to give the litter more time to absorb and harden. Once a week, I pick up the bag and replace it, add a large scoop of litter (an old 32 oz yogurt container), and vacuum around the device. I have to vacuum around it because my cat does not use the step - he launches/flies out. I honestly could not have a cat without this machine. That being said, I have heard that you can buy a refurbished machine. If you go that route, I would make sure it has a good warranty.

Break it down on a daily price for 1 year. $2.25 a day to have a robot keep your house cleaner, smelling better, cats healthier, etc. Seems worth the price for me.

Even cleaning the litter box every day the smell was awful, it even makes it down into the basement. I'm not a fan of going down on my knees every day to scoop poop. Bonus there isn't a gross mess to greet me when I walk into the house. It also cuts down on the litter usage. For me, yeah pricey but worth it if it lasts. I would strongly recommend getting a surge protector or battery backup because motherboards do not like brownouts or surges. They do offer replacement parts that are priced reasonably so that is a huge bonus.

@Jean78578 figured out finally, I was connecting to Wi-Fi 6 because I have a mesh, but now I'm connected to regular internet, and it's working fine now 👌 thank you for mentioning the 6G issue people are having. Great video
