When I first moved to China, I felt totally out of place. I've always been a minority but this was a new level of "different". So of course, I had to make my first trip in China to the place where I felt most at home: Guangzhou. I went in October down south to a city is known as Little Africa or Chocolate City. It has the largest population of Africans in China. The people are great, shopping was endless, and food was amazing. I felt right at home here. Hope you guys enjoy the vlog.
Hope you guys enjoys.

This African People in Guangzhou looks so friendly. Here in Germany they look and act like Gangstes. The Local hates the new foreigners...

That's because in China, if they don't obey the laws, the police makes them ;).

@Mohamed Ali ? I was talking about how Chinese don't get in trouble with the law often. Why are you talking about temperature?

@Mohamed Ali when did I ever condone blacks being treated badly in China by Chinese? Dude, stop making assumptions.

@@fabdi2 You know what? Being a native Cantonese, I have long regarded the "chocolate" community as a inalienable part of my city. The African presence has added so much color (literally and figuratively, pun intended) to our modern life, and I cannot imagine how we can fill that vacuum if, some day, all those shops, restaurants, and exotic languages disappear.

@@user-hv1cq1lw1l couldn't agree more, as I believe Guangzhou is unique in that sense in being the only city in China with a sizeable African population and the vibe and energy is completely different to any other Chinese cities, and long may it continue! What is Guangzhou without the Africans?! Lol. I hope this will only increase in future as China steps up its engagement with Africa and with a corresponding scenario happening in the opposite direction as well, ie more Chinese in Africa living and working there!

I’m actually living in Guangzhou right now (well I’m in the states bc of the outbreak). It’s good to see this market now. I couldn’t find a video for Sanyuanli my first two months. Glad you made this!

IDOSTLARl [Boom Beach] sure if you spread awareness about how African nationals are being forced out of their homes right now and made to unjustly quarantine while no other foreign community is dealing with the same 😊
