Little Big Year, Episode 1 - How many birds can I find on my home patch in Eastern Massachusetts?

In 2024 I am challenging myself to find as many birds as possible on my home patch Eastern Massachusetts (Horn Pond Recreation Area). The count starts now, in mid-March, and ends on December 31. I will only be counting birds that I am able to show in these videos. My target is 125 species.

Cool project! I actually birded that place for the first time a few weeks ago. Surprising for how urban the surrounding area is. Good luck and we'll see what you find!

Did you buy a straight up R7 or the one with a so called "content creator kit"? I am very sorry to bother you with this but I am that impressed with your displays!

No problem, I bought the R7 body only as I knew that it would be a dedicated birding camera that would stay on the 100-500 mm lens.
