What LED controller are you using? I've found plans for multiplexed LED drivers before, for low resolution video stuff, but never anything that compact.

What SD card reader are you using? I've been looking on multiple places and all I can find are the large bulky ones. I've been stuck running attiny85s in parallel to double my code capacity. Anyway, if someone could shoot me a link I'd be very grateful!

Yes, I see it on television quite often. IRL? No. I don't hang with people younger than 40 or so, and those whom I do 'hang' with are mostly in some sort of business meeting with me. Although, I tend to drop any conversation which employs any form of "I'm like,al,so totally, etc." There usually isn't much to hear coming after such phrases. Sounds to me more like a tik (sic) or an insecurity issue.
