Grgrgrgr 😠. I remember the frustrations back in 2009 her being over shadowed by La roux. Both great, but it was 'all about la roux' and little boots definitely lost out at the time. 'New in town' needed to Smash and it didn't, and although 'remedy' was really good it wasn't enough to cement little boots 😭. She should have been BIG!. Love all the music though, especially 'shake' and 'headphones' and love the raw, edgy feel. This blackpool video as well 👏. What a fab song 🎉. Keep giving us music little boots!! So unique 👌

Yes. Totally agree with you there. Second album took too long (which is a drop dead gorgeous record) and the momentum was gone.So glad to have her back. She does melancholy pop like no one else.

I know it's old comment but not much changed since then. Like.. Where is La Roux now? :v I didn't hear about her for years. "Bulletproof" was her only radio hit in Europe and radios sometimes play it. Also Jessie J and Ellie Goulding are from this period of time and they are now less visible in public eye. We only hear about Florence because she is very very specific and maybe some bands I wasn't into. There was also Clare Maguire that I really love and she also got lost after the first album + they were trying to start careers in times where social media were not that big. Now we get every independent artist from TikTok to have one hit song and say goodbye. Times are weird.
