Mom has one equal vote. Dad has one equal vote. If it’s bothering dad pay attention and respect that. Brainstorming ideas is a great skill to explore with your kids and also your hubby. A lot of people can’t do it. It would be fun to sit down together and brainstorm up lots of ideas of alternative spots. The goal is to come up with a bunch of ideas, silly or not. 10 ideas each. Just for fun. It breaks up the clogged energy. It’s like Feng shui for the brain. You say you enjoy debating with your son but does he enjoy it? I think not. It would be fun to switch sides. He has to take your side and you have to take his side. We did that in debate class on issues. Very enlightening!
