Edit: I had a training program with my job. And we studied with custom videos my trainer made and took tests, etc. Counting numbers were the trickiest for me. (When they reach past 10, they get very strange. lol)

The person in the eeyore costume saw, and just opened his arms for a hug. Without even knowing how much it meant to him. Great people there.

I am glad that the actor who played the Disney character knew sign language. Not many know how to do sign language. Well how about we start with nurses and care givers in hospice. I appreciate this video but have different outlooks on where we should start with training people to speak to deaf people. My mom and dad were deaf mutes. And my mom passed in a nursing home where one person knew broken sign but it was something. I wish she had more people that could have understood her and her needs! I live out of state and couldn’t be there as much as I wanted .

Context is extremely key in situations like this. The open B handshape inwards palm orientation is "happy," yet the character's name -- being "joy" -- changes the denotation of the sign. Similarly, an example: the sign for "finish" is also the exact same sign for "then," and "already."

But let's take a moment to appreciate the mother who adopted this boy. She could've adoped any child but chose one with special needs, needs that can be very difficult.
