Little Brook Orchids is also close to Shady Maple Smorgasbord which is a very popular buffet restaurant. I have both saved just in case if I'm ever in that area. 1:00 Didn't know Stanhopea flowers have a short bloom period, but maybe the unique bloom and fragrance make up for it. 4:13 I got two of the Yellow Birds from a local big box store this summer for $34. I knew that it was an easy orchid to grow and I wanted to try to make a very bushy one. 😁 16:35 I always thought the pronunciation was pretty good. Most orchids sound like spells from Harry Potter. 🧙♂️✨ 17:04 My violacea is on its second bloom and now my schilleriana is starting to spike. 52:14 That bulbo is not that little though. 😨 It must be stinky with all those flowers, but they are unique. 58:26 Now I know where to get some nice size paphs in the NE area. ☺️👍

Yes! The Stanhopea fragrance definitely makes up for the short flowering time! When they get big the plant can have multiple flowers so it can flower for a few weeks. You are going to love your schilleriana! The fragrance on the Phal schilleriana is so strong and once that plant gets large, you can have quite the show! Thanks for watching, Joe!!! :)

Hello, found your videos. Really nice tour! C. C G Roebling (1895), older hybrid with C. gaskelliana x C. purpurata. I have a young plant, which is hybridized with C. maxima. Have a great day!

Seem orchids bloom more often than Hoyas
@OrchidsByBryan2 ай бұрын
@@2coryman I don’t know very much about hoyas, but some orchids can bloom multiple times a year - some never going out of bloom!
