That is not correct. They have the same r value on the walls as a laminated rv. Different type of insulation but same end result

I have the 16 BHS and notice the lack of storage above the dinette in this model. Maybe because the slide is added? Just wondering where you put your dry goods? The slide is nice, I would love the extra space that it offers. We fit 4 or 5 in our current and it’s a great starter travel trailer. I’d say the craftsmanship is lower end, have had multiple issues in the short 2 years I’ve owned it but it was a cheaper/ more affordable brand. Thank you for your detailed reviews😊

Not really. It’s just a couple screws on the floor that once removed you never really notice were there.

I would love to see a counter top extension, s splash guard on the wall, next to the stovetop. However, there is no closet & windows on the side of the slides would really help with air circulation. But you always, do a great job of covering all of their great features, Josh! Thank you.❤

How would you compare reliability if schwintek vs the cable slide? Obviously a lot of dealers don’t properly educate their buyers on what to do or not do with their schwintek that causes a lot of issues but I hear a lot of people having failures with them. We have a 2020 17JG with the schwintek system and so far *knock on wood* we haven’t had an issue but I never partially open or close it and always continue to hold the button for 3 seconds after it’s opened or closed for the motors to stay in sync. Our dealer never told us about any of that and I think it was one of you videos a few years ago that I saw it on.

Million dollar question. Why do manufacturers include the drill adapter for the scissor jacks if they don’t want you to use it. If you keep the torque setting at its lowest setting there is no way to over torque and twist the frame. Just curious.

I would like the option to put a whole camper inverter. Just so the kids (3) can charge their devices if we boondock. Even if it were prepped for that an a solar package that I can add later. Love the weights, would be curious if an 8ft would tack on that much more weight.

Those usb plugs will be live on battery power btw and it’s a lot easier on your juice vs an inverter I always wondered how well those solar battery chargers worked..

Hey Josh, thanks for all the info. Watching your reviews is one of the reasons we ended up going with the Wolf Pup. Now we did get a 2023 (I think) but I am a bit confused as ours is the adventure package and does have the little Wolf Pup projection light inside the door but it still has the shwintek slide and old scissor jacks and does not have the inverter plug above the headboard. Now the real kicker is that Forest River put a sticker on the outside left of the door with a QR code and when scanned it comes up as a 2022 layout but when I run the VIN in a vin finder it says 2023. I did reach out to Forest River for clarification but have not heard back yet. All our paperwork says it is a 2023 but is there any way our dealer somehow swindled us on this? Is this anything you have seen before? Thanks again for all your videos and the great info.

2023's started with the schwintek slide but swapped to a norco cable slide half-way thru the season. Yours is a 2023 model for sure. It might've been built in the 2022 calendar year but it's a 2023 series The VIN is what determines that.

We are very happy with it so far (still brand new), the only thing I would have really liked is the little inverter plug but that is not a big deal at all as it is very easy to add one. It’s not so much about the battery as the tending. Winter storage bud rough on them if not tested right Best to pull the battery in the winter months, store it in a dry place with a tender, and cover the solar panel

This is my favorite one of this size. The Murphy bed style doesn't do it for me. The dinette is large, but you do miss out on the double over double bunks. The slide function is nice too.

Throw a 7500# axle under it, bar style table in the slide with your own recliners, farm style sink w/sprayer, and move the burners to the other side of the sink(corner top for coffee maker), then they would have a winner.
