I love how Little Comets can deal of a difficult subject and the song is still something you can listen on a daily basis (for the foreigner that I am..) and even find a catchy, joyful part I'd say. I'm so glad to know this band!

These guys are so switched on. It's honestly so refreshing to hear music made by young men that's not about smoking joints in the club, having so much money or how many girls, cars and houses they have. Every time I listen to these guys I feel like I've just sat through a Creative writing lecture by Shakespeare followed by a two hour seminar courtesy of Oscar Wilde. When I read the album sleeve and realised this song was dedicated to the tragic and desperate circumstances of young Daniel Pelka, R.I.P, my heart skipped a beat and I nearly cried. Not too long before the album was released I was randomly remembering the case of Daniel Pelka and how he was totally failed by every single adult that came into contact with him and were some what aware that something was not right, this poor boy was caught going through bins in his school playground because he was so hungry on numerous occasions and not a single adult saw it fit to report this immediately without hesitation, this was unforgivable and disgusting and in my opinion such individuals were no different to the scumbags that eventually killed him. The ones who he so innocently referred to as Mummy and Daddy (Mothers Boyfriend not his Biological Father) .

I’ve never even heard of this song before I only found out after reading about Daniel Pelka poor wee boy suffered nothing but abuse all day long it’s so sad and sickening how could anyone do that to a child and this isn’t the first child abuse story I’ve heard I’ve heard of loads more but the first one I heard about was Arthur Labinjo-Hughes a six year old boy he was also abused and fed salt and was killed on 17th June 2020 but I do feel so bad for all the children who were abused and killed R.I.P Daniel Pelka no one can harm you anymore sweet baby ❤️💔😢
