I really wanna head here! Great to see you have a video on it, good to see a bit of the landscape before heading on a trip.

Not easy travelling by yourself in sometimes remote places so keep up your passion, love your videos along with many others, it must be a bit like having at least 143 people travelling with you without seeing anyone.

Thanks Peter. Yes it has its downsides and upsides. But I'd rather be out there then waiting back at home.

Great video. Planned to get into this park last week but flogged tracks in the surrounding parks took their toll on my patience and called it quits, they’re hard work! Will be back later on though

Shame, must be a lot more travellers through the region than when I did it. You'll get back for sure.

G'day Brett, thanks again for another one of your uploads. Some of us have beenwondering when your next one was going to be. So, when are you are you going to organise the Bushaman Productions/Roaming the Outback convoy expedition? :P :D I'm sure some of us would like to do an occasional trip, and still enjoy the peace and quiet, and serenity of the outback away from the rat race of urban city life. Anyway, Its good to see another one of your videos Brett, and sure enough, most us viewers will be looking forward to seeing another one of your videos very soon. Sincerely, Matthew

Thanks Matthew. Not sure yet about a tag along tour.. perhaps in the future. You can expect more videos in the coming months. Have started to work my way through the backlog of footage. Regards Brett

In dry country it is recommended to camp at least 1/4 mile or 0.4 K's from a water hole. Your presence may keep some animals from drinking.

I'm going to this place to camp soon, first time camping and 4x4ing. So should be very fun. just few questions. while you were out did you see any snakes or anything and a camping tip to prevent them and like spiders from coming to your campsite. and tips on where to go in little desert ?
@RoamingTheOutback8 жыл бұрын
Hi Raymond. I didn't see any snakes out as it was still pretty cool. As far as tips go if sleeping in a tent always keep it zipped up. And when walking around at night always wear a head torch and enclosed shoes. That's pretty much it. I"ve never had any problems with spiders or snakes otherwise. All the snakes i've met even the venomous ones have been friendly and not particularly interested in me. There's not too many "attractions" in little desert to see as such. Just enjoy the driving and stop at the few places listed on the map. If you have absolutely no experience 4wdriving or camping I would recommend taking a friend who knows enough to help you out. All the best with your trip!

Great stuff. You should contact Google and offer to run street view for rural Aus. Carry on living the dream.

How soft was the sand here? Did you find you needed to drop down tyre pressures pretty low? Any recommendations for pressures? Great video - keep it up. Really enjoy your style of videos.
@RoamingTheOutback6 жыл бұрын
Can't remember for sure, but sand was fairly firm. I probably dropped them to around 20-25psi just to be sure and not to damage tracks. For my car and tyres, 16psi is about as low as i need to go for really soft sands. Thanks.

Good video.. keen to have a look at this park sometime soon. Did you see any reptiles?
@RoamingTheOutback8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. No it was quite cold so little action on the reptile front.
@DuncanMargetts8 жыл бұрын
Yes.. it did look a little cold. I like these little videos with introductions to obscure little parks. They might not be Kakadu or Fraser Island. but they are equally as interesting.

Looks peaceful Bret ,,, how do you cope with the heat?
@RoamingTheOutback8 жыл бұрын
I usually just sweat it out and drink plenty of water. Even at 43 degrees Celsius that plan worked for me... though I was forced to sit in my chair in the shade most of the day and read a good book.

Good video, too bad about the rain drops on the GoPro, lol. Might have to mount it inside. PS. to previous comment, Dogs are not allowed in National Parks, more trouble than they are worth.
@RoamingTheOutback8 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mark.. yes a real pain.. Had to discard some otherwise great footage due to drops right in the center of screen. Don't know what else to do to get the particular view. oh well.

I enjoy you’re videos. So glad you don’t include stupid useless loud music. A little bit of nice instrumental is acceptable, although not necessarily required. Keep up the good work, you do a great job.
