This throws me back at least forty years. It may surprise you that Lowel George, leading figure of Little Feat, learned his craft from being in Frank Zappa's crowd. And as a personal not, on the same record (2 lp's, if I recall correctly) there is a song called "Don't Bogard That Joint, My Friend". I'm sure you'll like that. The whole record is great, btw

You are a little off I'm your events of little feat. Lowell was a player in Zappa's band and in fact which was considered the original Mothers of Invention. Lowell wrote the song Will in in which at that time was more up tempo then what was recorded and Zappa told Lowell that he may want to start his own thing and with the blessing of Frank decided to do that. Zappa also financed Lowell and the first Little Feat album

This album is FIRE! Essentially it's all live cuts that have been cleaned up a bit during the production of the album. IMO the versions on this album "Waiting for Columbus" are better than the original cuts on their studio albums and it was the soundtrack of my college years. You could not walk across campus without hearing one song or another playing out of a dorm window. Lowell George (singer, slide guitar) died before I got a chance to see them in concert but I did see the rest of the band at the Warner Theater in DC with someone else singing lead and they were still fabulous.

You know how much I love Zappa Teez. If you drive deep enough into the world of Zappa you'll hear stories about how he disliked drugs and even fired band members for drug related indiscretions. Lowell George is IMO the prime example. He brought WILLIN to Frank and between that and his proclivity for narcotics got the boot. Took fellow Mothers Roy Estrada Billy Payne and Richie Hayward and formed Little Feat. And this is considered by most as not only their greatest album but one of the greatest albums in musical history. Like others have said, do yourself a favor and listen to the whole thing. Or maybe I should request some more from this show. Hmmmm.
