Irene Hannon is an author I found when I was researching for my Summer book club. Can't wait to hear if anyone has read them!

Love all the old newspaper dispensers that have been reimagined and redecorated into little free libraries! My Dad often stopped at them to pick up a newspaper in my childhood, but I haven’t seen one in quite some time. Thank-you for the trigger of sweet memories with my Dad who is very dearly missed. ♥️

I remember those from my childhood! Now they don't even sell newspapers anymore really. My Dad passed away in 1999 and I miss him too. I'm glad you had that sweet memory.

I've been to many Little Free Libraries and I'm just like you; I always tidy them up if they're a mess inside. I love you for doing this because it's such a gift to the next visitor (and all of the visitors after that). Your narration was comforting and I enjoyed this vlog very much! Forgive me but why is yellow on book covers important? No judgment -- just curious. Thanks again.
@AlmasBookJourney3 ай бұрын
The yellow book cover is a prompt for the July Beaches and Books readathon that I had on my mind that morning. I mention that in my July TBR video. Yes, I just have to fix them up. It also helps me to go through them. Thank you for your kind words!! I really enjoyed making this video and I plan to make more like this of libraries in different areas. I just love them.

So fun! I love how they used old newspaper dispensers. Great idea. Also I love that you took the time to organize them. ❤ I would have grabbed the Karen Ehman book. I like what I've read by her.

Good find on the Irene Hannon book. It is part of a series, but this is a series that can be read out of order. All are set in the same town with a few of the community members making appearances in each, but the main characters and the stoyline are independent of the other books.
