It annoys me that you were complaining about books falling out on you or being disorganized but you keep putting books on top of each other or just randomly placing them when some of the little libraries are organized and have space for you to put them side by side but you chose to just put it however in there. That's how the little libraries get disorganized and messy

This is the first video I’ve watched and I’m not sure I can watch another that’s how sad and annoyed it made me. So disheartening. 😢 Although I did love that you left books even when you didn’t find anything…that was lovely…not everyone does that, so bravo for that.. 👏

That's so interesting that Little free libraries are not prevalent where you live! I wonder if the LFL brand or company can start making it's way across more than just the US because they can be so fun and a great way to recycle books!

@@mikalas_nook for sure! I looked at buying a LFL to set up in my area but there’s all sorts of rules and permissions to get etc. So I am going to wait (as I am moving house in the next couple of years) and then will set one up on the edge of my property for all to use.

YESsss it looked to me liek someone must have unhauled there entire collection of VC Andrew into that LFL! YESSS it really is not easy at all to film!!! 😣😅 Thats so cool you are near the border too but on the West! I love living so near all these different places to travel, like Canada is just a hours drive away at all times haha!!

AWW I wish you had some more near you as well!!!! I feel like some neighborhoods will have just a TON of them and then some won't have any for miles!! Like in my neighborhood we don't have any within walking distance but it's my goal to build my own at some point!

So many cute libraries and so many nice quality books! Sadly, our two FLL have so many damaged books that people just can't bear to throw away. I would have grabbed all those VC Andrews!! 😂

YESSS I knew someone would have struck gold with those VC Andrews books! I was SO tempted to take some of them but I was really trying to limit bringing in more unreads to my shelves! Also I have seen similarly with a lot of the little libraries where theres many old or damaged books! I love that they are free but sometimes it is hard to find books I find myself interested in in them!

Woah these are some excellent finds!! Those VC Andrews books are all in pretty good shape for how old some of those editions are! That Longarm Western books I wish I had that cover tattooed on me 😂 I'm going to be an auntie for the first time, and I can't WAIT to take my lil nephew to the libraries like these, because the children's books are awesome!

You might also try your local Senior Center as ours has a free library inside. I leave the junk journals I make at the LFL - we have a bunch in our town, too -and the Senior Center. Many obscure books can be found at those places.

I looked up the little free library website for those near me, but I don't think the site was updated with all of them. 😢 I know where two are. One I found by chance, and the other actually does show up on the map. I would love for our neighborhood to set one up. 2:35 - You like old book smell too??? 😂 9:05 - I would love to live around this little free library. Haha. If I knew who was putting the ARCs in there, I'd be watching them like a hawk. Some of these LFLs had some amazing picks! Glad you were able to find something to take!

Ohh Yesss I wonder who updates the map with the new libraries!!! I also wonder if sometimes people may just build their own but not register them, for that reason then I wonder how many more there could be out there near me I just dont know of! I really wish I had one in my neighborhood too!!! We don't have any within walking distance but I want to make one at our house asap!!! YES oh my gosh that's so cool you recognize them!!! The goodwill we went to at the end was the Woodhaven location! Wyandotte was so beautiful I can't wait to go back! The waterfront was amazing!

VC Andrews: the Petals on the Wind keyhole, foldout cover used to scare me to death when I was a child. 😂 Years later, my girlfriend had Flowers in the Attic on her shelf, so I read the entire Dollanganger series and loved it. We were stoked when Lifetime started making the movies.

That is TOTALLY understandable that keyhole cover for the Petals on the Wind is creepy!!!! I will have to one day read the Dollanganger series! I was really tempted to pick up these VC Andrews books this time but I was being very strict with myself because I am trying to read all my unread books this year! But in the future I will definitely have to read some VC Andrews!!

I liked the artwork on the side of that green LFL, the place with the dog. I completely understand why you didn't stay long at that one, Mikala. I would have bailed, too. It's a shame though because there were so many books there. Maybe there was a lot of books there because that dog keeps on scaring people away! Thank you for showing us the park and the Detroit River. What a beautiful place! I'm glad you found some treasures to take home from the LFLs, but I'm not gonna lie. I'm kind of traumatized by seeing "The Boy in the Suitcase." 😳

If you're on the LFL App, there's a way to report a no-longer-there LFL, as well as an LFL that's needs to be repaired. I've never seen just a post like that. Very weird and sad.
