TUNIC & A Short Hike are a legal requirement to play

You're really making some great, compelling videos and this was another slam dunk. Hoa actually reminded me of another smaller title that impressed me and that's Unravel. I know it's technically published by EA, but I don't think any other game expressed the concept of being small in a great big world to explore like that one. It all felt very humble and I can't recommend it enough. You also already showed Thomas Was Alone, which was a really interesting platformer that I think is worth playing too. Keep up the awesome work. Looking forward to the next video.

bro i was so fucking confused when I saw that this video only has like 1.5 k views. Normally these types of videos with this production value that get recommended to me would at least have 50 k and up to the millions. Really good job!

I don't understand how this has not 500x the views it should hve had! great video, Ive played moastly all of the games and you summerized all of em as good as possible, ney even better than I could have ever done myself. If any of you reading this have thought bout buying a cute indi game instead of an crazy open world game or tripple A title, it is def. worth it. My absolute favorite games that hold a very special place in my heart aren't the ones with a creazy long and thought out story line, but the ones that you just want to never end. The only bad thing I could say about those games is their length and the replay value, but i guess thats what makes em special to me, an experiance allmost like the ones you get when you go on a trip with the people you love.

Samorost 3 is an absolute must-play game. It's the best, most beautiful, and most atmospheric puzzle-adventure game you will ever play.

A short game I always try to recommend to people who want a satisfying story experience is Subsurface Circular, a short text-based mystery taking place on a subway, where you, a robot detective, interview robots getting on and off the train to come to a conclusion about the world and working state of these robots. Easily finishable within 2 hours, I can't recommend it enough after stumbling upon it and being impressed by it's unique storytelling.

Intrusion 2 is a really fun run&gun that's short and dirt cheap on Steam. If it looks like a really high-quality Flash game from 2006, that's cause I'm pretty sure it's a sequel to a flash game. I implore you all to play it.

I am obsessed with the Lazy River song from Donut County and I have never played the game. I listened to the song around when it came out but I never really looked at the album cover. You officially blew my mind today, thank you.

Minit is one of my favourite games! It’s about this guy who grabs a cursed sword. Each life lasts 60 seconds, and you go on this quest where you meet new characters, get new items, solve puzzles and explore the world. It’s pretty short, took me about 3 hours to beat, and 5 hours to 100%. Another short game I really enjoyed was Turnip boy commits tax evasion, I really enjoyed the writing in this game, and the way that the lore of the world is shown through character dialogue, and documents that you destroy on your quest to defeat the evil mayor. This one took me about 2 hours to beat and 5 hours to 100%.

Knytt stories is old, but great if you like these titles! Also Attack of the Friday Monsters, which will not be available for long (3DS eshop exclusive), and Refunct, and for a decidedly different direction, everything by Kitty Horrorshow.

For those with PC gamepass, Donut County is part of it (not sure on xbox gamepass) and A Short Hike has been an Epic Games free game as well. Your point about the graphics in A Short Hike ring true to my playthrough, all the screenshots or gameplay I had seen had always been on the crunchier side of things, and I definitely kept things like that when I played, it makes things more charming, the graphics and style remind me of the ds legend of zelda games.

Dope video, I guess my recommendation that wasn't shown here is Oneshot. That game can be completed in an evening and it's an incredible experience with the best 4th wall breaks I've ever seen in a game paired with an incredible moment near the end where you gotta make a choice, I highly recommend it. As for stuff that was shown in the video but not spoken about, for other people reading this at 16:17 you see Everhood, an absolute blast of a game, go play it!

Loved you video! Very nice and professionally made. Super underrated, I’m sure you’ll be going a long way. I saw a comment saying that the video was too long, but I disagree. I wouldn’t mind if you made hour long videos tbh like some other creators. But yes, keep up the good work. I’m hoping to start a channel soon and your work is for sure an inspiration! Subscribed, and looking forward to more!

FAR: Lone Sails is a wonderful experience game. There's no dialogue and it's set in a world with signs of past life where you have to piece together what happened yourself by observation. And just, it's so good. I still think about the feeling i get when i first got my landboat moving, and now there's a sequel and i'm so excited to play it. I recommend highly recommend trying FAR.

Donut County was truly amazing. When I first played it, I felt kinda dissappointed that it just lasted just 2-3 hours (it was one of my first "short"games), but looking back, it's complete and to the point. Definitely one of my favourites. Also, I recommend a short game you showed in the start: Thomas was Alone. Great story, fun gameplay, what more can you ask for?

Man, I absolutely love your videos. Not only do you mention Jacob Geller, but you also put so much heart into them and hold them to such a professional standard I can barely believe you've only been doing this for about a year now. There's just this truly relaxed outlook and vibe you have regardless of the video subject matter whether it be souls or kirby that totally pulls me in to whatever you're talking about lol (that's it for my overbearing fangirl letter). The subject this time around is also something I can totally relate to. That feeling of wanting to slow down and just take things in at my own pace is pretty strong with current events and irl burnout these past few years, so more often than not I find myself drawn to these smaller, simpler, and more laidback titles. I love fps dopamine hits and the pleasure of overcoming a tough challenge as much as the next person, but that breath of fresh air in indie and slower titles really hits the spot. As for your outro comment on reccomendations, I think you might enjoy Eastward a fair bit. It falls apart a little at the end and I'm not sure if it'd be video-worthy, but I do think you'd likely enjoy what it brings to the table a fair bit if you get the chance to give it a go!
