I always love good comparisons. 3hrs vs 2 mins. Freaking fantastic. (What about the cost for 2 weeks? Like for the scaffolding?)

The scaffolds have a much better walking area.

You don't want to have to get down and move your ladder every 5 feet?

Wow, very good little giant scaffoldings, We are making the machines for ladders and Scaffoldings, maybe you can have a try.. so that can improve the ladder making efficiency .

This would be great for changing a fan up high

How do you fold it back up with out lowering it? If your workspace will not allow it to lower to fold because of space... can you push in the locks while on the ladder?
@LittleGiantLadders Жыл бұрын
While the Adjustable Cage has a "rope brake" to prevent it from coming down when the locks are pressed in, it hasn't been designed to withstand the weight of people on top when this is done. We can't recommend trying to press the locks in while on the ladder.

Wow little giant has created teleport technology to get equipment to your location. That’s fantastic!!!!
@LittleGiantLadders3 жыл бұрын
That would be truly innovative!! :D A better comparison would have been to have both the cage and the scaffolding parts on site and only compare the time it takes to set them up.

Adding in the time to pick up the ladder to the LG equation may actually make the comparison valid. Hey but as a portable, telescoping deer stand I think there is some merit with the telescoping stabilizers. 🤔15 feet is plenty.

Ya maybe for changing a really high lightbulb. Scaffolds for doing work over a large area

The CAGE is a perfect replacement of scaffolding by getting you to the right height, while being fully enclosed. Some customers have even done calculations on how much money they've saved by not having to rent scaffolding every time they've needed it, and it surprised them just how much ROI they've gotten because they've purchased a cage. As far as the lightbulb suggestion goes, every single school, college, and university campus has lights above stairs that would require scaffolding, which also means closing the walkway for an extended period of time while constructing, replacing the bulb, and deconstructing. You may think you are trying to discount the usefulness of the CAGE by suggesting it, but in reality, the CAGE pays for itself after only a few uses.

I gave it a thumbs down. Both have their benefits but that contraption will never out due a full scaffold. How are you going to work those corners? How did you even load that in your pick up bed?

How you going to put it in your truck lol
@stevebickle82092 жыл бұрын
Like the ladder, but if you're going to include the time to go pick up the scaffolding, then you should include it on both comparisons. Most people will not keep that large of a ladder on their truck everyday.

I agree. The time should only compare the setup time and not the time to go get the rented equipment. In this case, it was about 2 minute setup on the Cage, and a 1 hour 15 minute setup on the scaffolding.

I'm sure with more experience there would be less of a time discrepancy, but nothing can beat the speed of setting up a Cage. Not to mention that if you need to set up your scaffolding on a stairway, you have to shut the stairs down for a lot longer. But I agree with you that it doesn't take 3 people. I hope none of the video implied that more than one person was needed for either this type of scaffolding or the Cage.

Useless as far as scaffolding goes...very little difference than a ladder as far as area you can reach, without getting down and moving it. Probably costs an arm and a leg too.

Universities and places with stadium seating, find a cage more beneficial than shutting down an entire stairwell to build scaffolding. Loading docks, parking garages, oil rigs... there are a lot of places that you may not want to build scaffolding and would not be able to use a lift where the cage comes in handy. The cost of renting scaffolding plus the time to set it up and take it down, instead goes right into your Cage, which you own. It's got a great return on your investment by perhaps even your first or second use.
