We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray cats is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. His idea of a happy ending was probably to stay with the people that took care of him from when he was a kitten though, and I doubt he was very happy when those people gave him away.

My cousin and her husband found a new born kitten with the umbilical cord still attached , under the wheel of a car . It was d,ead and crawling with huge ants . But then it moved ever so slightly . They picked it up and rushed it to the vet . It was a little boy. They vet treated him .Then my cousin and her hubby took him home . They took turns to feed him and take care of him 24/7 , even cancelling their holiday abroad . Their friends wanted to adopt him so they thought about it for a second but no way could they let their baby go . He’s now a very spoilt cat and is thriving !
