So from what I understand from what happened when I was younger is the best kids out of an area of teams are chosen to form one team that represents the area, and they go and compete against the other teams in that state (in my case, Arizona) until a winner is chosen. That's as far as I went. What I'm assuming happens after that is the best of those teams remain, and they'd go on to compete with the other teams in the Country, to finally end up with one team that represents.

The all stars from every little league itw gets placed in a tourney and if you win you go to the next tourney Here is a diagram of tourneys from top to bottom District Tournament I V Section Tournament I V State Tournament (depending on your states size you might play another tourney to get to be state champs I V Regional Tournament I V You are finally in Williamsport for the LLWS!
