I just finished watching King's Tide the moment it was released on Disney Channel, and it left me REELING. You did a great job showing how Hunter finally found himself and found his people, and knowing that it all (basically) gets ripped away from him makes it so much more poignant 😭😭😭 I CANNOT handle the upcoming hiatus

I love this. A good and lovely synopsis of Hunter. Well, the growth of Hunter's character over the series so far. Love how he was introduced in the original series. But grew into what he is now. Hopefully, he will be getting better at life soon. And I cannot believe we are almost nearing the end of it all. Well, the finale is approaching.

I love Hunter a lot, he’s a character I tend to see myself in…a lot. I never knew the name of this song but it’s always been weirdly nostalgic for me, I came into this not knowing exactly what would happen, and finished it in tears. Thank you

I'd just like to point out that I love the detail of the red being the only colour shown except for the background fade. Something about yellow being the colour Hunter was assigned all his life but red being the one present when he expresses himself, but it also not being that simple because the staff Belos gave him gives off red light... oh. I think I just realized the significance of red in the show. It has all it's usual positive colour meanings (love against his uncle's hate, passion and the desire to fight for what you believe in, rebellion in general, berries), but within the world of TOH it's also the colour that's present within artificial things. Hunter's eyes are red because of the grimwalker thing, and Belos's for-now unexplained artificial magic is always red, not to mention Flapjack, who might be different than other palismen due to being presumably made by a human. Interesting choice, as I tend to associate artificiality with grey and blue, which is almost the opposite of red. Very clever contrast between the Golden Guard and the teen boy with red socks.

I love how you can fit all of Hunter's character development up to Any Sport In A Storm here. OMG. I NEVER THOUGHT ID SEE THE DAY SOMEONE USED THIS SONG!!! My family taught this song to me and my brother when he was an infant and I was about three, there’s a part in the song that this didn’t show but it’s a layered round type of thing and my family all had parts in it. The funniest thing about this is that the song has fuck in it and it’s one of the first songs my very not swearing parents taught me to sing. I’m reading back through this now and have no idea why I shared this but I’ve written it all now so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks! I had to study so many different scenes from so many episodes to figure out how different characters would look at different angels, how they smile, if they have any noticeable features when mad, and if they didn’t I kinda made up my own like Kikimora. She didn’t really have any defining features because she’s mad almost all the time and her face is all hidden, so I took it upon myself to add crinkles and such.

1. I wish you drew the scenes from different angles, or anything different really. I think it makes the animation look more original and different. It also makes it look less like a redraw. I also think you could have made the transitions between the frames look better too. 2. This is looks fucking awesome! The song, the lineart, the connections between the song and the scenes, EVERYTHING!! I can't say I know how hard it is to make good animation (you can just look at my channel to figure that out), but I know how easy it is to make bad animation, and it's pretty easy. Again, this is incredible and I can't imagine how long it took to make. Keep up the good work!
