There is a lot of stuff you can tweak with a dyno to get it set up correctly. If they are going to use it to make money (sell services), it might be worth paying to get a tutorial from the supplier, to get all the little stuff figured out 👍 Love the miata though!

I have an 3 puck clutch in my 91 Brg miata that has gingiums old supercharged 1.6 motor and the clutch is the exact same way. It's like a fucking on off switch at the very top of the clutch pedal movement. I've beaten the piss out of that clutch and it's never slipped, well besides when my slave cylinder went out.😅 🤷🏻‍♂️ if it's the same clutch just run it. 👌🏻

110 is correct, my N/A 1.6 manual with a header, stock ecu made 114whp on a dynojet. Regardless, that thing is hurt lol. Or bad tune if it’s on standalone

We did swap it to a 1.6 and it just went back to a 1.8 not that long ago I would say that engine is probably making around 80hp there could be some things that got mixed up had to make it to an event I whant to say it was done in 3 days

I think the "little miata that couldn't" slogan has a logical problem in it. The entire takeaway of that story would be that the little miat just kept choochooing on no matter how hard the going got. "That couldn't" implies that this cars story is over, but it is in fact still choochooing on. Little miat knows it can.

Tech tip there a sec adjustment in that maf and you can also rotate the intake cam gear set the timing pull the intake gear and rotate it so it E is at the top 19 teeth count and rip 😂 when you bring it to Florida bring it here I'll time it just right won't even charge you

i think that you should have been in direct drive. aka if its a 5 speed 4th gear that way your not multiplying the power via the trans. also i think the dyno needs to be set to what the weight of the car is and possibly number of cyliders. i used to work with dynos at my old job but it was for emmistions bs not power figures so might be different there

My 92 with a stock 1.6 that just had a header and exhaust made 90hp and would tear up first gear. I have videos on my KZbin to prove it. This thing is making at most 80hp

i had a car that dyno'd 114hp, it could easily do 1st gear burnouts on 225 tires. but my single slammer 1.5L eg civic could not do a burnout at all. not sure what that HP was at, but i'm guessing closer to 75-80.
