Mincemeat and mince are different things. The mince that Jade was referring to is just minced beef or ground beef in USA. Its cooked with onions and gravy and served with dumplings (British dumplings are more like USA biscuits). Mince and dumplings is a UK comfort food popular in the north. Mincemeat is a sweet fruit and nutmeg/cinnamon/clove spice mixture. Its popular in pies at christmas time.

Just FYI, when it comes to spices, because Perri has no sense of smell she always over compensates in her food by overdoing the spices. There are many examples of this and when you watch episode 3 you'll see that.

It’s probably best you don’t know what Jesy said at 32:00. She was saying something sexual haha. In terms of the angel of the north, it’s in the north east of England which is were Jade and Perrie are from. You might notice that they have different accents to the other two (Jades accent is thicker). Leigh and Jesy were imitating Jades accent when they were reading out the menus. Jades accent is a running joke with the girls because people often struggle to understand her unless she talks slowly and tries to make her accent less thick. Leigh and Jesy are from south England which is normally the English accent depicted in American TV and Movies.

16:12 Yep you heard correctly. She said "we didn't put a stock cube in the mince." I believe it's reduced stock. It's super concentrated and so you just use a single cube and add it to water/liquid (to get the same flavour that's in regular stock). With that said, I am quite the cooking novice, so forgive me if I've mis-worded something.

I think the way she made her kababs is by using ham , so she put it in the shape she wants and then put the stick trough it, In Morocco we call it kefta/kufta , and our kabab is called ktban /qtban it is like meat that is cut to small pieces and you put it in that little kabab stick , so yeah it's kinda the same thing , and it tastes so good , don't know if it's just cuz I grew up eating this way but yeah , don't know about Egyptians but we use a lot of seasoning in our food but yeah thanks for coming to my lesson see you next time lol
