2:14:40 I think Mono is just scared because is the thin man, I think the thin man's presence or his energy or both give him a bad dejavu and he is disturbed, just like when he is close to a tv, I think in any other situation he would save Six, but the fact that is the Thin Man makes him feel scared and sad that's why he doesn't try to help her

"sin" is an interesting take on this. Personally, I've always thought little nightmares is symbolic for what trauma/abuse can do to a person. In the sense of: in the struggle for survival, the necessity to do what it takes to cope at some point can turn you into the very thing you tried to escape from - cue: maladaptive coping. The first one seems to be about how cruelty breeds cruelty. The second one touches on theme of addiction (people being glued to the tv, seven's musicbox starts out as something that consoles her during isolation, but ultimately she becomes dependent to the point of being monstrous and violent - turning back to human, when the addiction is taken away). The other theme, including Mono's story, to me seems to be .. lack of certainty/control leading to overadjustment and enforcing control. Like, you have that school with an authoritarian teacher - classic theme of control. Then the bullies - another classic theme of control. Then there's the doctor experimenting with prosthetics desperately trying to keep that one person alive - another classic theme of control. It's hard to tell from the game itself, if the Thin Man had any bad intention when coming for Seven and Mono - he might've intervened in an attempt to save himself, knowing that Seven would betray him and/or what Seven ultimately would become. And Mono as a child had been compassionate and trying to help - there's no "sin" in that. But this desire to help might be the very reason he becomes the Thin Man, the controller of the city. I don't see "wrath" as Mono's theme - but more like "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". His desire to "help" (i.e. control) creates a hell-ish existence for the people under his control.

Loved this game. Rewatching after the announcement of Little Nightmares 3! Hope the new developers make a game worthy of this franchise. Felt like LN2 was a lot creepier than the first one but also felt like the controls or the depth perception was off in this game. Kinda hindered my enjoyment as I never encountered platforming frustration in the first one. Still one of my favourite games.

Maybe you know. I've been looking for a game again that came up a while back I had it in my steam cart been months searching for it again. The story was a lady coming back and looking into her estranged sisters death it is all I remember it looked like it would have some good jump scares and it looked fun.
