Nice review - i was quite late to Little Nightmares 1 and i was really surprised at how much i enjoyed it! I was kinda worried that this one would be a 2 player / online co-op game, but i guess not! Think i'll get this one, cheers!

I played the demo of this on PC. The segment felt a bit like a colour version of LIMBO (which I do not mean as a bad thing).

I would give this game 1 million out of 10 if it wernt for the god damn platforming errors. That one puzzle with the water and the trollie had me literally screaming at the TV. Its not like I didnt know what to do but if you miss that jump to the TV you have to set it all up again and that REALLY pissed me off. My time is precious to me. That was the one part that I almost threw the controller. It really annoyed me. I love Little Nightmares to pieces truely but that one part really make me mad.

Yes, definitely. The DLC too. Both excellent.

I'd say play the original if you can! You'll appreciate it more. You can still have a blast playing out of order because the story is vague and allows you to fill in the blanks.

Now this review of my own is my own opinion and I understand if it’s not gonna get much of the general public’s approval of my opinion. So far I just got up to the part where I have to save Six from the bullies in the school level and already have a mix feeling towards this game. Good things: I generally love the story surrounding little nightmares and so far little nightmares 2 it’s a world full of suspense, mystery and of course nightmarish creatures. I love the bosses, the music, the world building, the story and the characters all of it is great. Bad thing: the gameplay now I know little nightmares can’t have a different style gameplay from a plat-former style. I can’t see it being a RPG, shooter or survival horror so unfortunately plat-former based is what it’s meant to be, however for me this is not good and is generally making me angry including the new action gameplay they added such as fighting. When I was fighting the bully creatures with weapons such as a hammer or pipe the attack seem slow and was merely based on timing on when to attack, however at times I don’t know if this is a glitch or what but Mono (the character you play as) don’t seem to swing the weapon at which case gets me killed or how at times he would general bounce the weapon off the side of anything even if you aimed at the enemy which leads to a defeat of your character. This happened to me so many times that I even thought it was a glitch in the a game and nearly got me quitting the game due to saltiness but for a good reason. Conclusion: world expanding is great and I can’t wait to see what happens at the end however i do believe they may have made the action and gameplay a little more bad that the first game. So yeah I would recommend playing this game however prepare for some possible bullshit action and unfairness towards you. Edit: so far now I have just reached the doctor yet again the fighting action style is frustrating and annoying when you have to fight those crawling hands. Wish they didn’t add the fighting style in this game as it slightly ruined the game for me. Also another annoying function I found is when your partnering up with Six she sometimes tends to “accidentally” push you out of a hiding area for a boss to find you and kill you. She literally just done this to me while I was hiding under a bed as the doctor came and grabbed me. I just shouted “SIX YOU WH&@#!!!!!!” 😂

Played the first game, amazing experience! Such a cool and distorted universe really love the vague ideas laying behind it. Second game is on my wishlist on steam, but I will probably wait for a discount as I think the price for it is a bit high. Nevertheless, I can't wait to play the second game.

Pretty sure it means if you thought the story in the first one was nonexistent/boring or whatever then you won't like this one. Just because a story isn't handed to you doesn't make it bad

I played it, the story is really interesting and just like the first there isn't very much explanation - but that doesn't mean it isn't good. Edit: That being said, the core of the story is still understandable. You can learn more on the steam page.

If you've played the original, you already know. Six doesn't get much background explanation in the first nor the sequel.

Six being the original player character from the first game. Seemed obvious from the context of the video, but these games aren’t big on giving you plot or character introduction so I can see where some confusion may lie.
