I got the game for free by epic during one of their weekly giveaways. It was pretty fun to play for free but I doubt I would have purchased it. I’d say the review sums it up pretty well. The only issue I had is that most of the gadgets were pretty useless but that is standard for most sandbox games.

I’ll never understand why Yahtzee wasted time playing games he wasn’t built for and knew full well he wouldn’t enjoy. He’s a social pariah, he’s not built to play cooperative games.

Not mentioned at all is that factorio has a robust demo so anyone on the fence about whether it's worth the price can easily find out for themselves.

What's crazy is that Red Dead redemption 2 already look dated by today's standards. Its still a stunning looking game, but still ine from the last gen. That's always going to create the feeling of jankiness

I would never expect a reference to Dave Hopkins' magnum opus in a ZP game review vid, my bad for skipping on this episode back when it was new.

It's a fun little game, not to be taken too seriously. You can just abandon resorts or get the employees to manage them for you, they will get most of the profits, but hey you can move on to do more fun things. Or stick to managing the last big resort, or your favorite. Just make cozy little rooms and when you are done with that you can move on with your life ... not every game has to be 1000 hours of grind

In Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Budokai 3, there was a loading screen game where you just tap the button as fast as you can to get Vegeta to do push-ups, or Goku to eat food faster.

Man if they give this game the justice it deserves it could well be a cornerstone of finally good games that could fix the timeline problems

My favourite glitch was a recent one, the armoured mudcrab disappearing into the ground, then returning to float a foot off the ground, then disappearing into the ground again

Just released on Prime Video and I could barely make it through 20 mins before searching for someone to echo my 🤮 reaction with. Morbius was so bad my brain wiped itself clean of everything except the convulsive repulsion on recollection. So I cannot, will not waste another 90 mins on this shit. I'd rather watch paint dry. Thank you for this review, was one of the most cathartic ever. Such lazy writing, horrible lines, devoid of any sense of direction and so formulaic. "Copy of a copy of a copy" sent me! 😂 The skateboard tag along with cars was so 1980s, Black Adam's intro fight scene with Paint It Black as the background score was so Thor Ragnarok (Led Zep)...am sure the rest is worse...

Uhm, The Witcher Netflix show isn't a video game adaptation. It's an adaptation of a book.

Case in point, i bought a PS5 recently. Spiderman 2 was beautiful and decent enough. God of War Ragnorak i stopped after 2 hours. I'm not feeling it right now, I'll get back to it. But, i picked up Silent Hill 2, *on PS2* and was utterly gripped from start to finish. I'm now on Infamous on PS3. Far more interesting than anything I'm yet to play on this graphic powerhouse the PS5

So she has no love interest as she is too busy saving the world. Makes sense. So they released a DLC where she has a love interest with someone else. Does that suddenly make sense?

I know this is one of those games that tends to lose a few points for engaging Yahtzee more for the gameplay and less for the story, but this might be the overall most positive review he's given a game since the Orange Box. He was at least able to find _some_ criticism to give Obra Dinn for the music, Undertale for the graphics, Dark Souls for the level design in the back half, Spiritfarer for the end's pacing, and even Shadow of the Colossus for a couple of the boss fights, not to mention Portal 2 for basically everything that was good but didn't _quite_ reach the heights of Portal 1. Hi-Fi Rush received praise for the combat, the traversal, the boss fights, the soundtrack, the comedy, the art, the animation, the significance of it in the landscape of the gaming industry, and the grappling hook, and all Yahtzee could criticise was the withholding of character customization options (not an uncommon practice in, say, classic PS2-era games), the slightly redundant special attack upgrades (as some weapons and/or upgrades in PS2-era games usually ended up being, for example), and character dynamics in dialogue being vaguely reminiscent of webcomics like early Ctrl+Alt+Del (PS2 era!). Practically no criticism at all. He didn't go as far as to call it "absolutely sublime from start to finish," but it's still just about the closest a game has ever come to making him jam forks into his eyes like we've all been eagerly waiting for him to. Bravo.

I just realized the funny lore combination that Bob in this iteration is still the continued astral demigod like being of Gaming existing in space as a non corporeal entity and HE still gets wrecked by the Abyssal eldritch horror of Silent Hill. Fun
