It's so weird watching these old videos because I assumed Yahtzee was young and would outgrow the VERY ironic worldview he has that "Democrats good, Republicans evil" but apparently he never did even with all the evidence coming out now that the Democrats have been the baddies the entire time working with equally bad people in the Republicans to make us think we had two parties and Yahtzee hates the man who fixed it. Sheesh

3 things 1) eventually digital streaming services be the future of gaming . 2) Physical new media for the majority is incomplete or need services to keep them working. 3) Ignorance and acceptance is the reason we are at this point now . Boycotting and the voices of the consumers need to happen at a much higher rate for change to take place. Unfortunately not near enough push back from consumers.

I know this video is old and no one will see this but if this video put you off getting signalis, since the release of this video signalis have addressed most of the major issues yahtzee had with it, both the inventory can be expanded and tools no longer take up an inventory slot.

"curbing high difficulty of the game" and that is where they lost a sale for me. I am getting really tired of this trend of hard game.

It's worth noting that the game isn't really unfair and gives you plenty of weapon options that are plenty strong. How I know this is that as I got better at playing the game, I got further. I mean shit, when you play better you get more Resin for health, higher adrenaline levels with bonuses, more obolites to buy artifacts, and you can clear out a whole level just to increase your power through found upgrades. Also, the more you focus on unlocking permanent upgrades (like weapon abilities) the easier of a time you'll have. Honestly seemed really well balanced to me. Also, no one really talks about it that much, but the story of the game is super intriguing. If you're the type who likes to speculate on interesting questions rather than become overly concerned with finding concrete answers, you're going to LOVE this shit. It's deep.

You know, I would have expected SOME sort of "I was wrong, they WERE insane" from an honest person, but guess not. I forgot why I stopped watching moviebob so long ago.

Man, finally someone who agrees with me on this 😄 Never understood the Last of Us game hype - watched someone do a playthrough once and just found it annoying and drawn out, think you really clarified why. If want to watch a movie, I'll watch a movie. If I want to play a game, I'll play a game - works pretty good

Considering that even the creator of Dragon Quest says it's a lot harder to make silent protagonists work these days, I'd say yes, we're moving away from them.

Another really weird thing from Act 2 is the twist that the overprotective AI on Shay's spaceship is actually his mom. Not even like she got her mind uploaded into a computer or something like that, she's his flesh and blood living human mother who's lived on the same ship as him this whole time but who has apparently been communicating him exclusively through computer screens for his entire adolescence to the point where he's forgotten she's actually a person and convinced himself she's a computer. No explanation is given for why she did this, or for her extreme coddling of Shay now that she no longer has the excuse of being an AI who doesn't know better, and the only thing I can think of is that the elite dickwad society told her to do all this as part of their extremely convoluted scheme and she just went along with it for several years.

It's a little surreal that these reviews have gone on for so long that at the beginning he was reviewing PS2 games...not like a retro review, but like new releases for them. Hell he thought if that PSP God of War was ported it would still be to the PS2.

Playing through Phantom Hourglass now and I gotta say I can’t blame him for giving up on the game cause doing back to the Temple of the Ocean King a third time was the most painful wretched experience I’ve had in the game thus far. Plus the Stylus hurts my hand using it so much to move Link around AND make him swing his sword and use his weapons. There’s a d pad and 6 buttons (excluding the Start and Select button) that can be used for more than just opening menus….or absolutely nothing. And it’s a shame because it’s not a bad game so far, I like Linebeck and Link’s journey despite being kinda uninteresting compared to many other Zelda games. Maybe they should just do a full on remake of Phantom Hourglass on the Switch 2 along with Spirit Tracks that way their great stories can be told with MUCH BETTER GAMEPLAY.

Red arrows above the enemies heads ruins games. It is like the x-ray vision that Worth A Buy talks about. This needs to be eliminated from gaming in 2025. At the very least we need the option to turn the help off. Btw I am here cuz this game is now $4.99 Canadian for the standard edition on Fanatical. Thinking of getting it but probably shouldn't. I should put the $4.99 into savings to save up for a trip.

Heavy Rain is unintentionally hilarious but it’s fun at times. How many different ways can I amputate my finger? That’s actually weirdly fun even if doesn’t really need to be done.
