(ALERT VERY LONG) I'd say truly the scariest monster is six, the most unsuspecting to be so vile, and the scene of her effortlessly snapping the necks of the guests shows just how powerful she truly is. You know. This implies a totally different view of Six on the Maw. Her darker self saw the poster for it. Implying that, instead of being forced there with the other children Six chose to go to the Maw. And since the game chose to introduce her Hunger there, it ALSO implies she searched out the Maw to satiate that hunger. Which would make sense if it’s advertised to the guests as a place for a huge feast. Idk, it makes her much much darker. There are a lot of theories why Six did what she did. But in all the comments and the video theories, not one has mentioned one detail. After Six drops Mono, watch closely at the gate. Sitting at the edge of that bridge close to the portal, is that Shadow Six? Somehow, Six seemed to be influenced by her Shadow! (MY THEORY) it's a never ending loop. Mono will always be himself, the thin man. and thin man/himself was trying to take six away from mono/HIM because he know what would happen. he tried to stop mono/him from being betrayed by kidnapping him. and at the same time stopping Mono from saving Six. His target ever since the beginning was Six. Period. What I Just observed throughout the game (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Remember whenever the thin man takes a kid, their glitching soul will be left behind, these glitches are (scattered across all the locations in the game) even in the beginning which is the camping location, meaning the thin man has been there. What if those glitches were Six's? Like the Thin Man did try to stop him many times on many locations on each cycle of the loop then no matter how hard he'll try to stop Six the ending will always be the same where Mono will try to save Six, get betrayed, get old and turns into his older self. the Thin Man keeps hunting for six throughout the loop as it continued As you can see in the beginning of the game Mono wakes up with a TV flashing beside him, meaning he came out of it, not realizing he got the power to do it but you can observe that there are lot's of TV's scattered on that area, meaning the loop have been going on for quiet a while now. I hope that's an okay theory Honestly I think its such a good twist. Mono could've been a hero but was forced into becoming a "villain" because of six who was the true villain. Six knew mono's powers caused the world to become distorted so she thought she was doing what's best, meanwhile tall man/older mono was trying to capture six to stop her from repeating the same mistake but young mono will always beat tall guy, and the loop continues. Then six who can temporarily copy someone's powers grows hungry from it and eventually has to go to the maw, where she becomes a dark menace after absorbing the geisha. Truly a dystopic world I saw someone explain the ending saying that six saw thinman's face when she was taken and then she sees mono without his hat on and it she figures out how alike their faces are so she drops mono to prevent him from turning into the thinman not realizing that that’s what makes you become thinman. The raw, betrayed faces youtubers had and me when six betrayed mono. a dystopic world six and mono had, alwayshaving to run away from monsters. I still feel bad for six though
