Which one would you recommend for me? Asus Rog ally vs Steam deck oled. I have a PS5 and a mid level pc. I want to play my Gamepass, Ubisoft and Epic games comfortably, but I do not want to encounter driver and similar errors in rog ally. Steam deck oled is a comfortable handheld console.

So it sounds to me like the steam deck could be right for you. If your pc is good enough to play the gamepass games you could stream to the steam deck with steam itself. You can install heroiclauncher or similar on the steam deck (requires desktop mode) and can launch games natively on the device for epic games or ubisoft. (Or choose to stream them)

Steam deck is the easiest to use if you just want to buy games from steam and suchlike. Big plus if you’re competent with adding launchers etc. Rog Ally is great but with the usual problems windows throws at you.from time to time. Plus the SD card reader used to burn out, not sure if that’s been addressed yet. Legion Go , nice larger screen, again Windows system. Starfield runs better on my Ally than my Go. Only thing that stops me rating the Ally as best is the SD card reader.

Honestly, playing with the MSI Claw, reminded me just how good the Ally is. My wishlist for the Ally2 - 32gb memory, so we can allocate decent vram and still have memory left, screen wise, if i could have a 1080p version of the steam deck oled screen with VRR i think that would be awesome. 53 watt hour battery from the claw. If we could have a slighlty more powerful chip than the z1 extreme (that doesn't take much more power) then that would be fantastic, but don't think that chip exists yet. (I know the 8840u is just better on the AI side not gaming). I can but dream

@@HandheldGamingFan If ASUS is mysterious, it's because it's something big and perhaps long-lasting. Fixing mistakes and improving is the key.
