0:49 The hanging man over the chair is one of my favorite images in the entire game. It's both memorable and disturbing simply by how little sense it makes. The small chair completely contradicts the sheer size of the man's body and his supposed suicide by hanging makes no sense. He's hanging above the chair while it's still standing straight, meaning he couldn't have stood on it and jumped off. Either he jumped off from a higher floor and the chair just so happened to be underneath him or something put him there... That's how you f***ing do subtle horror. Taking something familiar but twisting it just enough for us to realize that something is off.

Always my favorite part of watching a letsplay of a beloved game, when you see the shape of the scope of the game and go "/oh..../ so that's why people love this so much." It's such a great moment, it sets the tone for the whole rest of the experience.
