She feels some sort of way towards her father, cognitively perhaps. She was protective over him, and shed tears over him without her "mask on" seconds before attemping to kill him, both times. Psychopathy is often mistaken with so many other detachment disorders. She never had her mother's nurture which may explain why she is the way she is. She definitely lacks remorse but does show some feelings towards her dad, just not strong enough to want him in her life.

The horror of going through this as a parent must be an intense one. On one hand that is your beloved child so you might be in denial; on the other you know they could kill you without any thought. There is a logical proof called game theory that shows even if you're the most selfish person in the world, the best strategy long-term is to be nice, not competitive. The problem is selfishness combined with hubris. If you think that you can figure everybody else out, the sociopath feels confident enough that they can get away with it. And they can't. Not forever.

Instead of lying about not seeing Milo she should have said he get scared by a bee or something and fell

This is why you guys don't have 200+ IQ you do know the parents would hate her and would suspect something wasn't right leading them to call the police on her and investigating Milo's death her excuse not seeing Milo at all was perfect as it gives her enough time to figure out her next plan of action against killing anymore suspects and in this case it would be her teacher

No lol. Better to not seem involved. Any involvement leads to suspicion.

This child actor always portrays her roles amazingly. I can't wait to see her more in movies and series.

The boy who won the metal must not been that smart. Had to been an inside job. Because if he was such a wise child, even more than Emma. He would never left the sight of adults, into a wooded area, and go stand near a clift end. Smart ppl tend to not play Russian roulette with their lives. Realistically, the boy would had left the girl in the wooded area and went back to a more comfortable setting, around the adults. Lots of dumb characters in this movie.

Moral of the story: When you get a confession, always record it and give it to the cops or lawyer not to your sister

I love how the dad hears Emma calling the cops but proceeds to hold a gun to her

I kind of think the dad wanted to die. He was hoping someone would stop him rather than killing his own daughter.
