Jeremy James yup. You just transposed it. So you could simply play those without retuning

If you want to play open chords you could tune down, use a capo, or just change the key. But this is how to play using barre chords in the same style as the original recording.

Most people who play guitar are usually crap singers. There are a few exceptions though.
