I so love Little Richard. To me, he is truly the King of Rock and Roll. He loved his audience and wanted to remove the barriers between him and them as much as he could to provide the best concert experience. You can see him shaping his performance "on the fly". His musicianship is unparalleled. He uses his voice like a percussive instrument, always "in the pocket". His flamboyance only contributes to the experience, urging each attendee to surrender to the fervor. Whenever I need a reminder about what is truly essential in music I listen to Richard...

Little Richard invented the piano accompaniment of rock' n' roll. Apart from the fact that no rock or pop musician - had such an expressive blues feeling. Mike Jagger, Elvis Presley and the Beatles couldn't keep up with him on this. And in 8:45 a.m. he greets all people, Black, white, red, brown and all other colored people of this world. This announcement is particularly topical today. D. Trump and his followers should finally understand that it was the blacks who invented the blues and thus made a very important cultural contribution to the culture of the United States (US) and all people of the world !!!
@patriciaaxton93233 ай бұрын
You are so right. Donald Trump only kisses up to black people for their vote. He wouldn't even like me because I'm of Italian heritage. He's a phony only looking out for what he can get out of it for himself. He shouldn't be allowed to run for the most prestigious office in the country. Any man who needs to seek affection from a porn star after his wife gave birth is just disgusting. That $130,000 should have been spent on his family plus he wouldn't be in the trouble he is in today. Family should be first and not taken for granted. Melania always speaks highly of Trump. She didn't deserve that humiliation.

Movie was huge back east where the r and r revival was in full gear . Lost some drive since the early shows but it still was the best show in town . There’s a lot of gold here w Richard but at that point in his recording career when he needed some brilliance on wax , he musically blew his chance to inject some new numbers - I assume he had been cutting some very interesting and commercial things for Reprise. But he stuck to the oldies here. Crowd didn’t seem to mind 😀
