@@TrashBulldogProductions they may not play instruments. But how does that prove that all current big-name artists and entertainers don't? Lady Gaga plays the piano, and she has a much better voice than Jerry Lee. I understand that there are some artists that do not sing as well or seem less talented than JLL, but their existence shouldn't be taken as an indicator for the entire generation of musicians today. Ed Sheeran, plays guitar, amazing voice. John legend, plays piano, amazing voice. I'm sorry, Jerry lee's voice is just him making the best of what he's got, luckily he fills that gap with energy, presence, and piano talent

@@beezzarro Notice the key word in my comment was "A Portion" Never did I say that all couldn't play piano or an instrument in general. And while yes, the artists you mentioned do have skills, they aren't the majority. Most of them go under the radar a vast majority of the time. While Jerry's voice may not have been much, you got to remember the man sang without the aide of computers, and the backing track was 100% real instruments. No annoying sound effects, sped up or slowed sounds, synths, annoying fake beats, etc. Just pure music to complement the main course which was Jerry and his piano. Jerry's talent isn't just limited to his piano though, watch him rap and sing country and you can see that despite his 'average' voice, he was still very versatile. Also the tone and energy is something that is seldom seen today. Compare "Bad Guy" by that Eyelash Emo girl to Jerry in this video doing "Whole Lotta' Shaking Going On" One song has unrivaled energy and adrenaline while the other is a depressing beat with a truly awful set of vocals and terrible sound effects tossed in.

I can't watch the man play and put all his energy into his performance (when at an age when most humans would be slowing down) he was trying to be like he was in the 1950's /1960's. Bless him, a real strong character and a classic rock 'n' roll performer. THE ORIGINAL AND BEST!!!!
