Pure gold. How fantastic to get a glimpse of this incredible band. There’d be tons of bands that could never be as good in their final performance let alone their rehearsal. And that voice - John Farnham will always be the greatest singer in my eyes. So easy and free and always that tone and pitch perfect. He can sing anything. There will never be another like him. Thanks for uploading. We are so lucky we have KZbin to not only see performances like this that would have otherwise be hidden, but to also remind us of what talent has and always will be in Australia.

John Farnham dedicated a significant part of his life to the Little River Band, as did Housman and Nelson. Their contribution is significant. I appreciate their work. Yeah, they were not in the original band, but that is another story. Appreciate what good things they did. I need to get Beeb’s book and read it.

Wonderful, love so many things about it, the calm way you control the rehearsal, the baby 'dancing' and crying out and making the orchestra smile, and most of all John's vocals. Can't stop watching it!

The jazz undertones, of every single thing this band ever made, was what separated them; as there was always such depth to the music. In a way, the constraints of pop music probably created an interesting challenge for them. Their skills were so obviously superior; the amazing harmonies, and this, is just a rehearsal. Similar to The Police; the jazz chords, that they sneak in, and they way they deconstruct and reconstruct, so beautifully, gives such weight to the music.

Amazing video. Just kept thinking about how those kids in the video must have grown up thinking that this was normal. Thanks for letting us see such a personal behind the scenes look at LRB. I love this.. Saw LRB at the Arrow Rock festival in Holland, absolutely the best band of the whole festival. My Dad always played LRB songs. Please come to Holland again soon!

I have been an LRB fan for many years, first introduced in the 70s by my older brother Fid who was a massive fan. I have and continue to follow LRB and enjoy the wonderful music that was, and continues to be produced. This recording of Sleepless Nights is Gold and I thank you Graeham for sharing this from your personal collection. To see and here the acoustic structure and workings of a great song, the orchestra, Steve guitar sounds great and Johns great voice is so pleasing to see and hear. RB

In my opinion, this setting would be the best way to see your favorite bands play live. Small, intimate setting, a few drinks/smokes if desired and about 5 of your best friends experiencing it with you. I prefer this much more to the extremely large setting (like Iron Maiden playing to 100,000 people in Brazil comes to mind).

I play well,but learning to read is really frustrating.I attended similar setting with a dixieland band at a home with small pipe organ.At any rate LRB best harmonies in the world.Really enjoyed these LRB moments.
